Aſter the footy acvies the kids came inside for a tradional footy lunch of hot dogs and then parcipated in some craſt acvies. It was a great day with over twenty five children parci- pang, thank you to all parents who got involved on the day. You may have noced some regulars in the foyer at Wyndham Vale Community Learning Centre making use of the Carrom Board. Carrom is a strike and pocket table game that is very popular in India. It is great to see Dhanesh and Singh who are also members of the Club 60 group teaching kids and adults of all ages how to play Carrom. The aſter school rush of kids have shown a keen in- terest in Carrom and you will oſten see them playing in the foyer aſter school. If you would like to get involved, please ask the friendly staff. Update On Wyndham Vale Community Learning Centre Upgrade ADM Structures has been appointed for the building works and construcon started on 2nd October 2017 . Works are scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. Some things you will noce upon entering the building is the temporary recepon desk has been relocated to outside the library and paroning will be installed around the works area (to ensure community safety and minimise dust and noise from construcon work). During construcon centre users should expect: Some noise from construcon - we will be working to minimise any impact on services and acvies . Minimising the impact on services and community safety are both key consideraons in delivering the project, parcularly during construcon. All services including the library and kindergarten are expected to remain open throughout the year; there may be some minor disrupon during construcon.
