  Farmgate price of palay sustained increases at a rate faster than last week. 

  Price of yellow corngrain went up further. On the other hand, white corngrain posted

minimal price cut this week.

The average price of yellow

corngrain rose  by 0.09%

from last week’s P11.55/kg

but, this was down by 4.46%

from previous year’s

P12.10/kg.

The average price of palay at

P18.18/kg grew  by 0.50%

and 6.32% from last week ’s

and last year’s levels,

respectively.

White corngrain’s price atP14.14/kg decreased  by

0.63% from last week’s

report. Compared to last

year’s price, this was up  by

4.82%.

The average wholesale

price at P36.29/kg gained

by 0.69% and 9.24% from

quotations of last week and

last year, respectively.

Retail price of well-milled

rice at P38.11/kg was

higher by 0.87% from last

week ’s level and by 6.78%

over last year’s report.

  Slight price increases were recorded for both wholesale and retail trades this

week.

Wholesale price of regular

milled rice at P33.22/kg

posted growth  rates of

1.03% and 9.13% over last

week’s and last year’s

records, respectively.

The average retail price was

up by 0.75% from last week’s

P34.75/kg and by 7.52%

from previous year’s

P32.56/kg.

  Upward price movements at both wholesale and retail levels continued.

  Price at both wholesale and retail decreased for the 3rd week now.

  The average wholesale

price at P15.90/kg was

down  by 0.06% from last

week’s record. Compared

to last year’s level, it was

higher  by 0.25%. 

Retail price of yellow

corngrain at P21.46/kg

was lower  by 0.05% and

1.83% from last week’s

and last year’s quotations,

respectively.

 Price cuts were reported this week for wholesale, while retail price sustainedincreases.

The average wholesale price

at P14.52/kg fell  by 1.36%

from last week’s report and

by 3.97% relative to last

year’s posting. 

Retail price of white

corngrain at P18.42/kg

increased  by 1.88% from

last week’s quotation.

Compared to last year’s

price, it went down  by

5.05%.
