U.S.-Saudi Arabia Business Program

MissionThe U.S.-Saudi Arabia Business Program is deeply engaged with commercial and investment institutions in the Kingdom and the United States, as well as in the region more broadly. The U.S. Chamber plays a pivotal role in promoting the interests of the U.S. business community in the Kingdom and supporting the commercial pillar of the Kingdom’s economic transformation plans to create more opportunities for and empower American companies that are investing and doing business there. We leverage our strong partnerships with organizations, including the Council of Saudi Chambers and three American Chambers of Commerce, in the Kingdom to provide access for our members to government officials and business leaders and serve as avenues to advance our policy and regulatory reform agenda.

Activities

U.S.-Saudi CEO Summit

In collaboration with the Council of Saudi Chambers, the U.S. Chamber launched the inaugural U.S.-Saudi CEO Summit, a private sector-led initiative that organizes and energizes influential senior executives from the United States and Saudi Arabia in support of expanded U.S.-Saudi commercial and business ties.

By creating a permanent platform for candid dialogue, coordination, and planning, the CEO Summit identifies and works to eliminate impediments to business, regulatory inefficiencies, and other obstacles to greater U.S.-Saudi trade and investment. CEO Summit participants and specific working groups engage both governments to strengthen bilateral relations. The Summit also enables U.S. businesses to play an integral role in the Kingdom’s drive to diversify its economy with a focus on productivity-driven and knowledge-based sectors.

Membership

Member Services

The U.S.-Saudi Arabia Business Program focuses on three specific areas for its members.

Network Development

The U.S.-Saudi Arabia Business Program establishes formal and informal relationships with likeminded organizations in both the United States and Saudi Arabia, and it works to create strategic ties with existing business development organizations in the Kingdom. The program also organizes and hosts high-profile events, delegations, and conferences to promote heightened business dialogue and cooperation between the American and Saudi private sectors.

Policy Formation and Advocacy

The U.S.-Saudi Arabia Business Program serves as a steadfast advocate for member companies on macroeconomic, investment, and trade policies and regulations that enhance the ability of member companies to bolster their market access. Leveraging the U.S. Chamber’s position as the world’s largest business advocacy federation, the U.S.-Saudi Arabia Business Program influences critical trade and investment policies in the U.S. and Saudi governments.

Business Expansion

Given the rapid growth of the Saudi market and plans for diversification, the program gives significant attention to expanding business opportunities for its member companies. It identifies projects, ventures, and partners to facilitate increased business development.
