Userguide how can I build my page

Dear Friends,

We like to inform you that all the participants in our site:

1) Should use the English language, the official language of our site.

2) Should not set their profile in private... We are among "friends" (with or without quotation marks).

3) Should keep the design of our pages unchanged. This is the way we express our collective spirit. The necessary individuality of every artist is shown by his/her artworks.

4) Should upload a clear recent portrait-photo.

5) The uploaded works (max. 20) should be relevant to the theme of our, this year's, exhibition: "Dreams, Visions, Creations: The positive side of Life".

6) Should accept our "manifest", in general lines, in form of two texts: "Friendship through Art Can change the World" & " Dialogue I".

7) Should fill, as soon as possible, their application form with short CV.

If some artists are not willing to accept these, our general rules, we will kindly ask them to withdraw from our site... Otherwise we will be obliged to suspend them the day after tomorrow.

How to set up your Page see next pages

First:Sign in:

Please use your real name

upload a nice portret photo (not a drawing or cartoon)

your skills

and other information

then click to join

now you can add content:

first: place some photos of your work

use the flash uploader for more than one

select the photos on your PC

use not too big ones1200 pixels width is enough

after your selection just click to upload and wait for uploading all

After uploading all, you can give the photos a title, a description and you can place some tags,like: nature, human, architecture, and what you want

After the last one you can makeoptional an album

and save it all

Now you can add a comment

for example: a short introduction of yourself

or just copy text from your CV (not so much as in this example, it will not be seen on your page)

Of course you can place yourown website

just select the text

click on the link icon

and write your homepage here

After saving you can seethe results, if you agree,let it this way or go to edit it again

now go to the textbox (edit)

here you can give it a titleand put all your words in here

for example - your CV- your exhibitions- your skills

no lmits here

Our language is Englishso please use English

Of course you can place weblinks here again

just select the text

click on the link icon

just type the website address you want

do not bother about the html text, just save

or go on with other text or placesome other things (see next page)

you can place a photo(set the textcursur where you want to place the photo)

at options you can set the dimensions at 600and make a thumnailso you check the optionlink to originaland add it, now we can see a big photo ofyour work

you can even place a file in here

Select the file on your PC

(a PDF, a wordfile)

open it

sometimes you have to wait

after uploading don notforget to save it

now you are done so far

Now you are almost done with your siteclick Home and there you will see your activities

then go back to the tab my page:and you can go to friends, look on their page and you can add them as a friend

Because this Ningsite is at the moment a free ningsite, Please ignore the unfriendly settings like Block Messages and remove as Friend

The same for the Google Adds, ignore itor maybe you can use it
