LOVE OFFERING

The 2016 Annual Conference theme is "Living Generously: Unleashing God's Gifts" and funds from this year's Love Offering will to go three projects: Refugee Response, International Child Care – Dominican Republic and Volunteers in Mission Scholarships. Enclosed you will find an envelope for the Love Offering. Please return to the church by June 12th.
HEALTH KIT MISSION PROJECTBecause of the massive flooding in the Midwest the Midwest Mission Distribution Center is asking for help to restock the shelves. 1,471 health kits were given out in the first week of January alone. PLEASE read the item list carefully as there have been some changes.· 1 hand towel – 5” x 27” (no kitchen, cleaning, or microfiber towels)· 1 washcloth

· 1 comb – sturdy, teeth must be 6” or longer (rattail combs and combs without handles are acceptable)· 1 metal nail file or nail clippers (no emery boards)· 6 adhesive bandages – ¾” to 1”· 1 bath-size bar of soap – 3 oz. or larger, please keep in original packaging. (No Ivory or Jergens soap due to moisture content) · 1 toothbrush – adult size only· $1.00 for toothpaste (NO TOOTHPASTE)
Place all items in a one gallon sealable plastic bag.PLEASE DO NOT put the $1.00 in the bag with the items. Give the $1.00 per kit to Kitty Schultz. A check will be sent to the Midwest Mission Center.PLEASE DO NOT bring the completed kits to church until Sunday May 29 and June 5. Mission projects will be packed the week of June 13 as Annual Conference is June 20-23. Note: School bag items have been changed also. If you have questions about the mission projects talk to Kitty Schultz.
