The Variable speed Tactical Electrical Generator (V-TEG) delivers dependable power for those on the move in the most extreme environments. It is compact, robust and highly reliable.
The V-TEG generator is the smallest member of a family of generators, designed by Rolls-Royce Distributed Generation Systems (RRDGS) to meet modern military needs.
Our V-TEG generator offers military operators maximum flexibility and mobility. V-TEG features variable speed permanent magnet technology, which means it will operate at the optimal speed for your power needs. This improves fuel consumption and the overall life of your generator.
The V-TEG delivers single phase power; the nominal output is from 2 – 6.5 kW, with two modes of operation: normal and high altitude.
Two versions of V-TEG are available, a standard version and a version with a winterisation package. Both versions are validated for Diesel and Avtur fuels, delivering maximum operational flexibility.
The power dense system has a small physical footprint and can be mounted on a trailer for transport. It is suitable for transport by land, sea and air.
Every V-TEG generator is certified for a range of defence standards including shock, vibration, operating temperature, Electro-Magnetic Current (EMC) and noise. It also features Infra-Red Reflective (IRR) NATO green paint to minimise detection in theatre.
