General SafetyTo avoid the risk of serious bodily injury and property damage, read safety instructions carefully before installing this system. Follow all local and/or national plumbing and electrical codes when installing.

Do Not Allow System or Components to Freeze.To do so may damage the system and will void the warranty.

Ordinary and extraordinary maintenance must be completed while the unit is stopped and the drive disconnected.

Interventions on pneumatic plants have to be done after disconnecting pressure/vacuum from the same.

Never start the pump if adequate/foreseen safety devices are not installed. Damage protections must be immediately replaced.

IMPORTANT

Be aware that during operation the pump’s body can reach temperatures of over 60° C (140° F).

Parts Identification

1 - Primary Shutoff - When the tank (2) gets full of waste, the primary trap (1) will shut off vacuum flow.

1A - Access Lid - Access port to primary trap for maintenance and tank inspection.

2A - Tank Drain - Drain waste from tank. To assist in drainage follow these steps: 1. Remove safety cap (2B) 2. Hook up discharge hose 3. Open tank drain (2A) 4. Set pump vacuum/pressure changeover valve (5B) to neutral (center) position. 5. Allow tank to drain 6. For quicker off loading start motor and turn vacuum/psi changeover valve (5B) on pump to #1 - pressure

3 - Secondary Shutoff - When the tank (2) is full of waste and the primary shutoff (1) fails the secondary shutoff will begin to fill. STOP USE IMMEDIATELY. Drain tank (2) and secondary shutoff (3A), then service primary shutoff (1).

3A - Waste Drain - Use to drain secondary shutoff (3).

4 - Oil Trap Muffler - Catches used oil and reduces exhaust noise. It is recommended that the oil trap muffler is drained (4A) at the same time the waste tank (2) is drained. Properly collect, contain, and dispose of used oil.

4A - Oil Drain - Use to drain oil trap muffler (4).

5 - Vacuum Pump - It is vital to the longevity of the pump to read and understand the pump manual.

Always maintain proper oil levels and run pump at proper RPM.

5A - Oil dipstick for Lubrication Oil Tank - Check and fill oil daily and each time the unit is being used.

Always use vacuum pump oil. See List of Recommended Oils in pump manual.

5B - Vacuum/Pressure Changeover Valve - Switches from #2 Vacuum to #1 Pressure or neutral (in between).

5C - Oiler Adjustment - Adjust oiler to 1 drip every other second. See Lubrication Checking in pump manual.

6 - Vacuum Relief Valve - Vacuum relief valve will open when vacuum in tank (2) exceeds 25 HG. This is factory set during testing and should not need further adjustment.

6A - Pressure Relief Valve - Pressure relief valve will exhaust pressure above 5 psi in tank (2).

6B - Vacuum/Pressure Gauge - Use to read vacuum or pressure of unit.

7 - Honda Engine - Quick start guide on page D is provided for easy reference. Read and understand Honda Owner’s Manual for further detail.

Gas Engine Quick Start Guide

1. Turn the Fuel Valve to the ON position. (Fig. 1)

2. Move the Choke Lever to the CLOSE position. (Fig. 2) Do not use Choke if the Engine is warm or the air temperature is high.

3. Move the Throttle Lever slightly to the left. (Fig. 3)

4. Start the Engine. Recoil Starter:• Turn the Engine switch to the ON position. (Fig. 4)• Pull the Starter Grip lightly until resistance is felt, then pull back briskly. (Fig. 5)

Do not allow the Starter Grip to snap back against the Engine. Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter.

Electric Starter:• Turn the Engine switch to the START position and hold it there until the engine starts.

Do not use the Electric Starter for more than 5 seconds at a time. If the engine fails to start, release the switch and wait 10 seconds before operating the starter again.

• When the engine starts, allow the engine switch to return to the ON position. (Fig. 6)

Notice Regarding Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty

Dultmeier Sales Limited Liability Company (hereinafter Dultmeier), notifies you that component part(s) carry a manufacturer’s limited warranty provided by the manufacturer of said component part(s). These warranties do not pertain to normal wear of component part(s) that may occur within any specified period. While Dultmeier is not the manufacturer of any of the component part(s), Dultmeier will assist you in processing any and all manufacturer’s warranty claim if applicable and available. Any and all manufacturer’s claims must be submitted in writing to the manufacturer within the warranty periods provided by the manufacturer.

Defective component part(s) that are to be considered for manufacturer’s limited warranty must be returned to the manufacturer by prepaid shipment with the applicable manufacturer’s limited warranty period. If the component part(s) are deemed to be defective under the manufacturer’s warranty, Dultmeier will assist in obtaining a replacement or repair of the component part(s). Said component part(s) will be returned F.O.B. Omaha, Nebraska. Replacement or repair shall be the exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty. Labor for installation, either with respect to original or replacement part or components, is not covered under the manufacturer’s limited warranty.

Neither the manufacturer nor Dultmeier warrants loss of income or consequential damages for injury or commercial loss resulting from any breach of warranty or warranties stated above.

The manufacturer’s limited warranty as stated does not apply to component part(s) which have been improperly installed, misused, altered, neglected, abused or not installed, adjusted, maintained, or used in accordance with applicable codes and ordinances and in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications as to such factors.

Notwithstanding Dultmeier’s willingness to assist in the processing of the manufacturer’s limited warranty, Dultmeier makes no warranty against infringement of the like, makes no warranty of merchantability, makes no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and makes no other warranty, express or implied, including implied warranty arising from the course of dealing or usage of trade.

Compliance with all local, state and federal codes regarding the installation and operation of said equipment, parts and components shall be the responsibility of the purchaser. The rights and obligations of the parties shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska.
