Versa-Dek® Composite 3.5LS is an optimized deck profile combining the features of stay-in-place formwork and positive steel reinforcement for composite floor slabs. The 3-1/2” dovetail shape interlocks with concrete topping to achieve optimum span and load-carrying capacities.

Versa-Dek® Composite 3.5LS provides unprotected fire ratings requiring significantly less concrete than embossed deck. A 2-hour rated assembly requires only a 2-1/4” NWT cover, reducing concrete volume by 15% over conventional designs. Less weight allows long unshored spans, wide spaced filler beams and a light gravity support system.

Versa-Dek® Composite 3.5LS is suited for health care facilities, academic buildings, office complexes, and residential projects such as dormitories and barracks, as well as ramps, concourses and elevated walkways.

Ceiling Aesthetics Versa-Dek® Composite 3.5LS, left exposed, provides a clean lineal plank ceiling appearance. Side-lap screws are concealed in the shadow of the dovetail. Versa-Steel® finish paints bring color and texture to any space. Versa-Wedge® hangers replace field-drilled anchors and provide owners the flexibility to add and relocate items after occupancy.

Versa-Dek® Composite 3.5LS Acoustical providesa uniform perforation pattern in the ceiling plane to achieve up to 85% sound absorption, helping to control the negative effects of noise and reverberation. Optional removable panels provide access to M/E/P components concealed in Dek flutes.
