IntroductionIASA is a professional society of present and former students in the field of Agriculture, AVeterinary, Dairy, horticulture, fisheries,
forestry, Home science, sericulture, ABM and other allied sciences, registered under Societies Registration act 1860.
The Society was formally launched on 10th May, 2011 by the then Hon’ble Union Minister of state for Agriculture during the All India Convention on Agricultural Administrative Reforms and the website was launched by the Hon’ble union minister of agriculture. The Society was registered on 1st Dec 2011 under the Societies Registration act 1860, with the approval of Ministry of Agriculture, ICAR and Ministry of Consumer affairs. Down the course of time, the drift between the technical work force and bureaucracy has increased abysmally harming the cause of farming sector and farmers at the national and state level. Policy making in agriculture has been largely limited to subsidies and loan disbursement, with negligible component of science in it. AIASA envisions a common platform where Agriculturists and Bureaucrats will work together for the Indian agriculture— with a “right person at right place” mode, to promote more application of science which is often left back. AIASA is established with the prime motto to bridge the drift and strengthen the voice of the agriculturalists, veterinarians, fishery experts and personnel of all allied fields at national and respective state level.
AIASA advocates and fights the long pending issue of creation of the All India Cadre of “Indian Agriculture Service” for appointment of
right person at the right place. Grant of professional status to agriculture sector at par with other professions is also a prime demand of time for better job opportunities and career advancement of the p e r s o n n e l s e r v i n g t h e p r i m a r y s e c t o r.
Aims & ObjectivesŸ To promote National Integration, Patriotism,
Communal Harmony with the development of leadership among members.
Ÿ To facilitate and foster the bond between the students & professionals (Teachers, Scientists, Technical officials and Farmers).
Ÿ Professional status to Agriculture sector and to establish Agriculture council of India (ACI) with need based administrative reforms.
Ÿ Creation of Central/Indian Agriculture Services.
Ÿ Granting UPSC status to ASRB for recruitment under Indian Agriculture Services.
Ÿ To make efforts for improving the job opportunities by having specialized cadre for agriculture services in center & state.
Ÿ Introduction of Agriculture course in CBSE, ICSE and state boards at school levels.
Ÿ Granting Fellowship to Agricos on par with UGC, CSIR, DST etc. fellowships.
Ÿ To represent the students in the national and international policy making body.
Ÿ To eradicate bureaucratic interference and corruption at all the levels and strive for introducing transparent system.
Ÿ To find out immediate solution for all problems which may jeopardize the common interest of the members by meeting, discussion and other democratic ways to the concerned authorities and act as a communicator to authorities/govt.
Ÿ Attracting and retaining youth in agriculture.
Ÿ To make efforts for advancement of agricultural research, education, extension, agricultural trade and development activities and other policy issues for promoting sustainable production and productivity
including conservation & judicious use of natural resources.
Ÿ To make effort and convince the higher authority for restructuring the entire agricultural administrative system/set up at par with other professions, which

It is the great opportunity to students, professors, scientists and farmers of Agriculture and allied sectors to integrate under one umbrella, AIASA to fight for our Goal "Right person at a Right Place"
and protect our own Self-Respect and Integrity. Let us join our hands to bring" Indian Agricultural Administrative and Reforms" revolution and for a long run cause of "Indian Agricultural Services" and "Agricultural Council of India". The time has came to make our Nation proud by bringing reforms in Indian Agricultural system for the welfare of Farmers, Students, Professors and Scientists of Agricultural and Allied sectors. .
