History

1988 Woolloomooloo - Bay Hotel

• Original data capture for both POS and ATM's was dumb

• Generally would only search for known significant problem

• There was no trend analysis or proactive management

NSW Surveillance Act 2005

• Replaces Workplace Video Surveillance Act 1998• Now includes email and GPS tracking as well as CCTV.• Available free on-line at www.bookshop.nsw.gov.au then go to “Legislation”

No major changes under CCTV but Club IT managers must ensure the Club’s email

policies and procedures comply with this act.
