VIDEO TRANSMITTER AND iOSD INSTALLATION GUIDE This guide will walk you through the simple process of installing a video transmitter and iOSD. Before you begin the installation, be certain to remove the battery from your craft as well as the propeller blades. You will need a 2mm Hex head screwdriver, a Phillips head screwdriver, and 4 pieces of Dual Lock to complete the installation. 1. Turning your craft upside down, use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the small screw at the end of each arm (4 screws total). Use the Hex screwdriver to remove the 2 screws below each motor (8 screws total) and the 4 screws at the base of the craft. 2. Holding together the top and bottom of the Phantom 2's shell, turn the craft over so that it is resting on the landing skids. Gently remove the top of the shell and move it aside. The top of the craft will still be connected to the Phantom 2 by two strips of ribbon wire. Be very careful not to damage the wires or their connectors when removing the top of the Phantom 2. 3. Carefully disconnect the Video Out Harness from the mainboard. 4. Run the 6Qpin connector from your video transmitter through the opening on the 3rd arm. Run the 4Qpin connector from your iOSD through the same opening on the 3rd arm.
