Trinidadian Recording Artist /Songwriter, Model & Actress- Nekisha Cyrus (known mononymously as „Neicy‟) was born on December 4, 1988, in San Fernando, Trinidad. Coming from a culturally flavored island, Neicy grew up listening to many different gen-res of music both local and international- ranging from soca, calypso, reggae, dance-hall, pop, hip-hop and her favorite genre R&B music which led to the beginning of her musical romance at the age of eight years old.

She recognized from an early age that she was really good at rhyming which led her to start writing poetry, which later developed into songs. In her later years she became interested in the arts which led her to joining a youth group where she found other re-lated passions like dancing and acting, but music always remained at No.1.

Although she never formally took music classes, she owes her knowledge and experi-ence to her constantly researching and mimicking some of her influences educating herself in this field. In love with R&B music, she listened to the late Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Brandy, Janet Jackson, Ashanti, Groups such as Destiny Child, Spice Girls, TLC the list goes on. She wishes to follow in some of their footsteps while leav-ing behind her own legacy.

She have been featured on many projects in her local community, with many other up-coming artistes. She also did backup vocals on endless tracks for other artistes, such as Nerukhi Ato Osei- producer and owner of Nerukhi studios from the year 2010 to presently, on some of his popular hits such as ”Extraordinary”, “In a Perfect world” and #1 chart topping track “If I told you the truth”.

In the year 2011, she released her first track „Do it like Dat‟ on the Bubblenut riddim- an R&B/ Dancehall track, produced by (Synergy soca star finalist & owner of Hide N Seek records) Noble Vox, and later that year her second track “All this time” a R&B/ Pop fusion. In 2012, she released her first reggae track “Could it be love” on the Make it up riddim- produced by Nerukhi studios which was played on local radio stations. She performed at many local forums including the popular „One Mic‟ and „Open- Up‟. Her first single release of 2013 “Holding On‟ another R&B/Dancehall track was #1 on Talk city 91.1FM, 'Indigenous Charts', produced by Kerron Gomez (Project 21 studios)and mixed/mastered by Andrae Palmer of Remla Production (Jamaica).

She is confident that her future looks very successful for her as she embarks on her musical journey to becoming an international star and planting the flag of Trinidad high in that arena. Her latest release- first soca track ever 2k14 "Party Non-stop' featuring K.kay (Reggae/ soca artiste) produced by Millibeatz Entertainment & Noble Vox, has been making some serious waves on the radio and also featured on popular site such as islandmix.com and socanews.com.

The Official Music video is out now. This talented songstress shows that there is no stopping her. She urges everyone to pursue their goals and purpose in life and to nev-er stop believing in themselves and trusting in God.

With Music Vault season 4 coming to an end, Ville Ventures Films will launch the Music Vault

Video Playlist.

Producer Ancil Harris says “ when Music vault first launched it was a video playlist show, so I

decided after season 4 ends we will officially launch a video playlist”, he added, “ it will be a

full hour of only music videos, both locally and internationally.”

Music vault Video Playlist will feature videos from around the world.. So while the hosts take a

brake viewers can still enjoy the videos that will be aired on Music Vault.

Music Vault Playlist will be launched on April 19th at 6pm on Gayelle Caribbean.

G.E News is one of the newest tv shows to hit television this month. Producer Ancil Harris says

that they were planning a entertainment tv show since last year. After a few obstacles the show

is finally going to be released.

G.E News ( Gayelle Entertainment News) will bring all the latest entertainment news only from

the Caribbean. Hosted by Neicy, the show will be around 3 to 5 minutes long and will be aired

every week.

Ancil also indicates that the name may change from G.E News to C.E News ( Caribbean Enter-

tainment News), but nothing has been finalized between himself and ceo Errol Fabien. “ When

Errol saw the pilot episode he was very excited and he stressed that the name should be called

Caribbean Entertainment because Gayelle is currently airing in different Caribbean countries., “

says Ancil.

So whether its G.E News or C.E News , it will be a show to look forward too.
