From I-91: Take exit 10 (Route 40 connector) to Route 10 north (Whitney Avenue). Drive for three quarters of a mile and make a left onto Sherman Avenue. The entrance to the campus is a quarter mile on the right at the light. From Route 15 (Merritt Parkway): Heading north, take Exit 61 (heading south, take Exit 62) and turn right onto Route 10 north (Whitney Avenue). Drive for 2.7 miles and turn left onto Sherman Avenue. The entrance to the campus is a quarter mile on the right at the light.

Quinnipiac University was founded in 1929. Today, 10,000 students are enrolled in more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs in business, communications, education, engineering, health sciences, law, medicine, nursing and the arts and sciences.

The 250-acre Mount Carmel Campus in Hamden, Connecticut, next to Sleeping Giant State Park, contains academic buildings and residence halls. About a mile away is Quinnipiac’s 250-acre York Hill Campus, home to the People’s United Center, a facility with separate arenas for the university’s Division I men’s and women’s ice hockey and basketball teams; the Crescent, Eastview and Townhouses residence halls; a parking garage and the Rocky Top Student Center. 3 The School of Law Center houses the School of Law, the School of Education, the Bristol-Myers Squibb Center for Science Teaching and Learning, and the Lynne L. Pantalena Law Library. This facility also features the 150-seat Ceremonial Courtroom, with a judge’s chambers and a jury room, team study rooms and space for the law school’s extensive legal clinics.
