Visual Inventory
Prepared by Abdulaziz AlasmiApril 7, 2014
Just as we’re attracted to people that dress well, we’re attracted to websites that look good. What constitutes a good looking site is not easily described but, we know one when we see it.
Concept• Developing a meaningful concept is a crucial step
in any design project, it lets reach and communicate with visitors easily through the website. Here are some examples of concepts:
Youtube:Youtube is the most famous website to discover, watch, upload and share
videos. Individuals can upload any videos through
YouTube but famous media like CNN
BBC and Vevo have provided their own
videos as part of the YouTube
partnership. That’s what makes it being viewed more than 2 billion times a day
Processing over 1 billion search requests throughout the world,
Google is the most famous website.
Color
Color plays a serious role in any website. Picking a color for a website means much more than picking your favorite color and turning it into a layout. It
means picking the right color in order to get desired response from your audience. If you know your
audience well and figured out which color works best for them, you are already halfway there in the
creation process. It is also quite unlikely to pick a color that will fit every visitor of your website,
therefore it is even more important to be able to determine which color and tone works best for most
users to target.
The Enterprise Foundation is a charity that helps and gives a hand to support the society to start their own
business. The Enterprise used bright and cheerful colors to attracts young people in their society to
deal with them.
Tone • When creating content for the Web, considering
tone of voice is important. Your tone can help you stand out from competitors, communicate efficiently and effectively with your audience.
