And manual shiftsare made sequentially by simplypushing the gear lever forwardsor backwards to change up ordown, with automatic-style‘kickdown’ also possible throughtwo or more gears.

And what a choice! There’s an entry level 1.9CDTI engine with82PS and 200Nm of torque. And a choice of two 2.5CDTI 16vengines (100PS or 115PS).
At the top end there’s an evenmore powerful 136PS/320Nm3.0CDTI 16v unit.
While the 82PS and 100PSchoices come with a five-speedmanual gearbox, the two mostpowerful engines are matchedto a six-speed, allowing moreflexibility to maximise fuel economy.Both 2.5CDTI 16v choices are alsoavailable with the new six-speedTecshift semi-automatic
transmission. Combining the mainfeatures of a regular automaticwith the control of a ‘one touch’manual gearbox, Tecshift alsooffers variable settings to adjustfor vehicle loads.
