Camp Meeting 2018 begins on Tuesday, June 12, at 7 p.m. Let’s agree together in prayer for a powerful move of God in our midst. We have an anointed lineup of speakers for the week, and we are expecting to experience the very presence of God as we meet together. Make your plans now to be a participant!

WE ARE EXPECTING A POWERFUL CAMP MEETING!

EVANGELIST NATHAN MORRIS – After many years of running from God, Nathan Morris gave his life to Jesus Christ in 2002 when he had a life-changing encounter with the presence of God. Initially, Nathan began preaching on the streets of England and in his father’s church. In 2006, Nathan launched Shake the Nations Ministries and began to travel to the nations. The first STN Gospel crusades were held in remote areas of Africa and India. In 2010, Nathan joined with Pastor John Kilpatrick and Church of His Presence for what has become known as the Bay Revival. In these meetings, thousands of salvations and notable healings were reported. He will be speaking on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

PASTOR JOHN KILPATRICK – For 22 years, John Kilpatrick pastored Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida. During his tenure there, he had the privilege of pastoring the Brownsville Revival, which began on Father’s Day of 1995. Currently, he is the founder and senior pastor of Church of His Presence in Daphne, Alabama, and president of John Kilpatrick Ministries. In addition to pastoring, he continues to preach across the nation and fulfill his apostolic call to mentor and pastor other ministers. Pastor Kilpatrick will be ministering on Thursday and Friday evenings of Camp Meeting, as well as Friday morning.

MARYSOL MARTINEZ – Mrs. Martinez serves as the director of Royal Home Ministries (RHM) at Falcon Children’s Home & Family Services, which is located in Falcon, North Carolina. Prior to joining the Royal Home Ministries, Marysol was a Spanish teacher in the Frederick County Public Schools in Frederick, Maryland. Previously, she also served as a teacher and middle school principal at Northwood Temple Academy in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Both she and her husband are licensed ministers of the Assemblies of God. Mrs. Martinez will be speaking in the Wednesday morning service of Camp Meeting. We are very happy to have this much sought-after speaker.

DR. A. D. BEACHAM, JR. – Dr. Beacham is currently the general superintendent and presiding bishop of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC). He served as executive director of IPHC World Missions Ministries from 2005 until 2012. A former college teacher, pastor, Georgia Conference superintendent, and director of IPHC Church Education Ministries, Beacham has written numerous articles and several books. Dr. Beacham will be speaking on Thursday morning, and he will be the presiding officer for the Quadrennial Conference on Saturday.

Our New Missionary Needs Your Help!Whitney Browning was born and raised in West Virginia’s Appalachian Mountains. She

learned and grew in faith at Voice of Praise in Bluewell, West Virginia. Whitney graduated from Bluefield College in Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in communication. At a young age, Whitney developed a desire to see hearts set ablaze for Christ and for the name of Jesus to reach the farthest parts of the earth. With a heart that breaks for the hurting, hopeless and lost, she longs to share the selfless, unconditional love of Jesus with whomever she meets, wherever God tells her to go. Combining her passion to see God glorified in all things worldwide and her experience in communication, she joined The Awakening, of the IPHC World Missions Ministries, as coordinator of Public Relations and Communication. This is a full-time ministry position. Whitney is excited to see the Kingdom of God continue to come alive in the hearts of young leaders rising up to declare Christ as Lord and King over their lives, families and nations.

Whitney is a credentialed minister in our conference and approved as a short-term missionary of the IPHC. She needs to raise her monthly budget by this summer to be able to travel with the mission teams that The Awakening is sending out around the world. Whitney is willing to come and share her vision of ministry. However, it will be difficult for her to do a traditional itineration due to this accelerated schedule. Pastors, consider talking with Whitney and then financially supporting her on a monthly basis. Support can be sent to account #90379S. You can contact her at [email protected].

Welcome Full Gospel House of PrayerThe Appalachian Conference welcomes the Full Gospel House of Prayer as an

affiliate church. Pastor Dale Huff is a credentialed minister with the conference. Blessings on this church as they minister in the Shenandoah Valley district.

We, Pastor Dale and Sister Naomi Huff, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, founded the God-ordained ministry of Full Gospel House of Prayer on September 16, 2007, in Raphine, Virginia. We were formed from a home-church environment when the homes we were meeting in proved too small for the growing group. After over 10 years at the Raphine location, God opened the door for us to move in November 2017 to a beautiful, more suitable storefront suite in Greenville, Virginia, just off Route 11.

Our vision at Full Gospel House of Prayer is “Building God’s Kingdom One Soul at a Time.” We are endeavoring to reach the lost in our community, and we are also striving to be involved in each congregant’s life by disciplining, mentoring, praying, encouraging, and training in the Word of God. We have been blessed in almost 11 years of existence to see God break the chains of sin, drug addiction, confusion, and false teachings. God has richly blessed His work with divine healings, financial provision, spiritual gifts, and many other innumerable treasures from His hands. It is our desire as founding pastors to faithfully serve this congregation until Jesus comes or until He moves us into another area of His harvest field.

COMING SOON:The Global Outreach service of Camp Meeting is the first night, Tuesday, June 12.

Let’s worship together and rejoice as we present our GO offering to the Lord!

FACE TO FACEGod spoke to Moses as a FRIEND. Mighty miracles were performed during the leadership of Moses. God also called Moses a

friend! This friendship rescued the children of Israel from slavery in Egypt! “And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. And the Lord SPAKE unto Moses FACE TO FACE, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle” (Exodus 33:10-11, emphasis added).

The prayers of Moses are remarkable. His famous prayer was for God to show His glory to Moses (Exodus 33:18)

NOT IN DREAMS OR VISIONS – Dreams and visions are truly inspiring messages from God. However, God chose to speak to Moses in a different manner. “My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all My House. With him will I speak MOUTH TO MOUTH, (clearly and not in dark speeches): and he beholds the form of the Lord, Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant, Moses?” (Numbers 12:7–8, AMP, emphasis added).

CHARACTER QUALITIES OF MOSES – Since the PRAYER LIFE of Moses was so POWERFUL, let’s take some time to examine some of his qualities.

• FAITHFUL: God calls Moses faithful (Numbers 12:7), The writer to the Hebrews also describes Moses’ faith: “And Moses verily was faithful in all his house…” (Hebrews 3:5).

• HUMBLE: “Now the man Moses was very meek (gentle, kind, and humble), or above all the men on the face of the earth” (Numbers 12:3, AMP).

THE BURNING BUSH – Moses was guarding the sheep of Jethro, near the mountain of God, even to Horeb (Exodus 3:1). Suddenly, he saw a BURNING BUSH, which was not consumed by the fire. A VOICE sounded from the bush. It was the voice of the angel of the Lord. From this place, God manifested Himself, as “I AM THAT I AM” (v. 14).

The Hebrew meaning of this phrase suggests that God is self-existent and that He will ACTIVELY move to release His people from bondage. From this experience Moses learned that PRAYER RELEASES POWER! Turn on the POWER with PRAYER!

A NEW SEASON IS On The WayWhile traveling on an early morning in late March, the Jefferson National Forest was to my west and the sunrise to the east. I noticed the maple, small poplar, locust trees, and green briars starting to bloom. This year’s calves were on the ground and the mares had their foals. Although it was only 30 degrees and a major winter storm was on its way, the plants bloomed and the animals were born with absolute confidence the winter season was about to change.

Young Christians should take great comfort in the peace and hope that the Holy Spirit provides when we are committed to His plan for our lives. Mature Christians know how faith builds with the endurance of every new storm and season in life.

Regardless of the storm that surrounds you, I encourage you to continue in faith. Determine to put your head down and fight through the storm. And when the storm is too strong to fight, then turn your back to the west and stand. While you stand, pray continually and lean on the strength of our heavenly Father. But stand with absolute confidence that the storm will pass and a new season is on the way.
