The classes for I Year B E & B TECH students forthe academic year 2010-11 were formally inauguratedon 19.08.10 by Shri Suresh Punjabi a corporate trainerand graphologist. The function was held in the collegeauditorium. A large number of parents and relativesof the students attended the function and shared thehappiness and warmth of the merry beginning. The Department of Higher Educationconducted an awareness programme onAvenues for Higher Education to the III Yearstudents of RM.K CET On 15. 07. 2010. TheResourceperson was Ms .swetha Dhanalakshmifrom Princeton review, Chennai.

-/ An Orientation programme for Business English Course was conducted to the III Year students on 22.07.10 at RM.K CET by Jacob Vargheese,Marketing Manager - Exams (South India) from the British Council.

-/ Our staff members Mr.RSankara Subramanian and Ms V.Jayalakshmi attended a 21 hour Teacher Support Programme for the BEC (BEC TSP)from 28.07.10 to 30.07.10.

-/ A Seminar on Education in UK by the British Council was conducted at RM.K.EC on 28.8.10. Our III Year students attended the above seminarat RM.K EC.

-/ Our Third Year students attended the programme Opportunities in Sweden - An overview conducted at R.M.K.E C on 23.10.2010.-/ Our college got Annual subscription for Institutional Membership in the Tamil Nadu state council for Technical Education for the Academic

Year 2010-11.
