Vuot Song Shipyard has been established in 2000, in Vietnam. Since then, Vuot Song has completed the construction of several boats such as tugboats, barges, shing boats, speed boats, cruise boats and yachts. Vuot Song is now among the top renowned shipyard in Asia and the top 5 shipyard in Vietnam.

Vuot Song works in cooperation with 2 workshop that is SSIC Ho chi minh City and Bason Cai Mep with the ISO 9001 and OHSAS18001 certification as well as several suppliers and subcontractors. All new buildings are followed by Vietnam Register, BV, RINA.Vuot Song has at its disposal more than 55 Ha of construction area in SSIC and 92 Ha of construction area in Bason. A 181m dry dock, 4 cranes of 120Tx and 11 mobile crane of 25Tx, a 180m slipway, 5 CNC plasma cutting machines and 2 steel products pre treatment line and primer shop, a vertical turret, plate, pressing machine.

Vuot Song team consists of 2 naval architects, 12 mechanical and electrical engineers as well as 3D specialists. Every new project is being developed by our team from the initial idea to the complete study of out fitting, stability and IMO weather criteria to the construction and the delivery.

Since 2000, Vuot Song designed more than 230 vessels and built more than 175 boats in different categories (Tugboats, Landing craft, Cruise boats, River boats, fishing longliners and Trawlers, yachts, RORO ferry ).

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DESIGN OFFICE

Vuot Song design office team can developed and design a full project study including General Arrangement, outfitting, structure, stability, IMO weather criteria, 3D imaging according to any class, ag and International rules. We previously worked under the supervision of VIRES, BV, RINA, Vietnamese authorities and international flag . All studies include standard equipment list being distributed by Vuot Song Maritime, which allow us to complete a full study in a short time.

Our team also consists of Carpenter team, specialized insulation and electrical workers who are able to design and convert an idea on paper into a top end luxurious interior or strong commercial and working boat environment.

All wooden works is M1 reproof and re-retardant to follow SOLAS and International rules. Wheelhouse and interior are also designed and made in molded berglass.

Our project manager works in close collaboration with different interior design firms in order to adapt the artistic creations of designers to the maritime realities and the requirementsof the various maritime administrations.

OUR PARTNERS

TUGBOATMono and bi-engine tugs of 16m and 600HP (Guascor engines), BV class. The tugs are fully equipped with International standard marine equipment that responds to SOLAS-MED, RINA and BV norms.

Designed to operate and sail in harsh sea condition and difficult loading operations, the tugs have a traditional and simple propulsion system that is economical and finally a strong and reliable stability that would respond to international regulation norms. The steering sytem is directly connected to the main engine and the hydraulic central Lecomble & Schmitt, with an automatic safety system connected to the generator.

BARGESVuot Song designed a series of 27m barges with a cargo capacity of 300T followed by RINA and the French Maritime Affairs.

The barges are built with 8mm Grade A steel, blasted and paint with zinc and 500 microns of epoxy paint and anti-fooling.

A maintenance and spares elements were designed for the coamings for easy replacement on the long-term.

YACHTINGSince 2000, Vuot Song design and built more than 9 river and/or cruise vessels from 20m to 60m, VIRES class as well as 30m-luxury yacht from a 20’s Cox & Stevens design.

Six of the vessels are sailing between Vietnam and Cambodia and accommodate up to 30 pax on board. Two boats are located in Ho Chi Minh City on the Mekong river and around the island of Phu Quoc. Vuot Song shipyard and its design team fully equipped and completed the design, outfitting and finishing of the boats.

Vuot song was behind the construction of the first passenger ships on the line from Saigon to Siem Riep, from 2004 to 2010.The year 2018 saw a new start in this sector of activity with 3 new projects.

Vuot Song delivers via our certified list of forwarder all our projects turn-key. All the necessary equipment is on-board and equipped with all security and safety devices ready operate. Depending on the client requirement, the vessels can be delivered with the navigation permit, freeboard and load line certificates.

Our team our export and freight expert are able to take care of the whole procedure of exportation and delivery to the final destination.
