• Neurons= brain cells • More then 100 billion

neurons in the brain• A neuron can transmit

between 250 and 2,500 impulses per second

Neuron Parts Dendrites: receive messages from other cells (dendrite=tree in latin, like branches)Cell body: contains the nucleus and is main part of the cell
