– No new automation, no change in SSC
• WAS 8.5.5 FP8 required• Support for DB2 10.5 now included, but not required
– No database schema changes required
• Straight forward upgrade (see documentation for details*)– But first – BACKUP Community files before upgrade to preserve buddy lists
and configurations– Start with SSC – Community – then add other WAS based components and
finish last with the MCU– Be sure to update Installation Manager to 1.8.4.1, then to WebSphere 8.5.5.8– Then run the install update package via the Installation Manager
