Resevoir – El GergalA part of the water can be stored in a reservoir.

• This water isn´t drinkable so it´s necessary to divert it to a water station where the water is treated (decantation, filtration and the adding of chlorine and fluorine) and turned into drinkable water. The water is then stored in a big water tank and after it is distributed to our houses.

Page 4: Water cycle

• We use water to wash, to shower, to clean, to drink, to cook, etc. After using the water, it becomes dirty again where it then goes to a waste water plant.

• In this plant the waste water is treated in order to get rid of contaminants before draining into the rivers.
