Fellow UNICANS,

We may be experiencing the coldest temperatures in 30 years but the success of the Italian Heritage Night has

warmed my resolve.

In November we installed 5 new members and in January we will install more new members. We should all be proud of our work this year to spread our heritage & culture, while at the same time making our chapter

stronger.

I encourage all new members to volunteer for our upcoming fundraisers and committees. We need everyone’s help to make a

difference.

The lighting of the new Holyland Cross also warmed my heart. It brought back many warm childhood memories and I was so proud that Unico had helped to

make this happen.

Let’s not rest on our laurels! Let us be stronger in our resolve. Let us make the Corned Beef Fundraiser an amazing success, let us represent our I ta l ian Heritage proudly at “The Gathering” and let us honor our fine Italian American

youth with scholarships.

Yours in UNICO,

Dr. Joanne D’Angelo
