This website gives our beach users all the informationey need to decide to come out to the beachfrom theeather forecast to the UV index and more, said Johnargle, Parks Director.

Weather forecast, nearshore marine forecast, and infor-ation on wind, air-quality, the UV index, and bacterial mon-

oring are updated on the website as information becomes

available on government monitoring sites. While some meas-ures such as air-quality and the UV index apply to the gener-al Milwaukee area, bacterial monitoring is beach-specific.Milwaukee County Parks beaches are Bradford, Bay View,Bender, Tietjen (Doctors Park), Grant, McKinley, and SouthShore. Information on Shorewoods Atwater Park Beach andWhitefish Bays Klode Park Beach are also included on thewebsite.

With sunbathing, sand volleyball, soccer, beach yogaand other out-of-the-water activities, Milwaukee County'sbeaches are a popular destination even on days when swim-
