Dear Parishioners,

In a poignant and yet beautiful way we remember our beloved dead this week and throughout

the month of November. In the beautiful hymn, “We Remember,” we sing, “See the face of

Christ revealed in ev’ry person standing by your side, gift to one another, and temples of your

love.” Such is the prayer we offer in commemoration of All Souls - to see the face of Christ. May we

lovingly recall those who have touched our lives and been a gift to us and particularly I invite you to pray for

the following parishioners who were buried from our parish over the past year.

We Remember...We Celebrate...We Believe

The Leadership Committee conducted two “Parish Assemblies” in October for coordinators and members of the

various MSOC’s. They met together and explored ways to plan for the future of the parish by fostering ongoing

leadership and establishing a succession plan for each ministry, society, organization and club (MSOC) in the

parish.

The assembly began with introductory remarks by Father McBrien followed by presentations prepared by Mr.

Joseph Olwell and members of the Leadership Committee. The parish coordinators had the opportunity to en-

gage in dialogue with each other and to begin a conversation about the sustainability of the thirty-three MSOCS

at Our Lady of the Snows.

The Leadership Committee is grateful for the presence of so many parish leaders at the assemblies and will con-

tinue its task of looking to a bright future for the whole parish and its pastoral work.
