Introduction to Web Intelligence

WEBi is used to generate interactive reports for data analysis, information

discovery and Ad hoc reporting. WEBi performs Querying, Reporting, Analyzing

and Sharing.

**Please follow the IDT tutorial for more information about Information design tool (Universe designer) and objects (classes,

dimension, detail, measure, filters etc) **

For navigating to WEBi query panel go to “BI launch pad” ->> “Applications” ->

“Web Intelligence”. A new screen will open in a separate tab. Select “Create New

Document”. Now select your data source from the list.

Here we are using “Universe” as the data source.

You can save the document as wid file, excel sheet or pdf. A maximum of 15

queries are supported in a single document.

Sales revenue data changed after introducing quarter to the report.

This is due to data aggregation. Aggregation data changes if the dimension objects

are changed. Measure objects are dynamic in nature, their values change

depending on which dimension objects are used with them.

Sales information further gets break down, if we introduce store name along with

state.
