This shows a tree silhouette that illustrates how exposure and wind shape the tree. It is not symmetrical. The branches are much longer on one side.

Most trees that grow in tree farms are symmetrical and full, however the trees exposed to wind tend to tilt and branches will be heavier, fuller and bigger on one side. Often the needles on some of the branches are missing.
