And everyone rested from their labors.

Later that Day…Once there was a detail orientated Regional Field Coordinator who was faithfully dispatching her public servant duties when she emailed a field researcher director. Such an innocent beginning one short email to one researcher…

Click, click, then the hard working public servant replied tothe dutiful researcher who printed & added this email. 1 page + 2 Pages + 3 Pages = 6 Pages

Then the dutiful research replied to the hard workingpublic servant and then added this email to the notebook.1 page + 2 Pages + 3 Pages +3 Pages = 9 Pages

When everyone went to bed that night there were 9 notebook pages.

And everyone rested from their labors.

Then There was Day Two: 2/25/14Now a hard working east coast university research director was up early in the morning and jumped into the discussion and like any good doobie research director she copied all involved…

Click, click, the dutiful researcher printed & added thisemail into the notebook. 3 Pages + yesterday’s 9 Pages = 12 pages .

a bit later…Now a hard working east coast university research director was up early in the morning and jumped into the discussion and like any good doobie research director she copied all involved…


Then the hardworking public servant replied to all the involvedparties and this email was 4 pages: 4 Pages +12 Pages = 16 Pages

And later that day…Now a hard working east coast university research director was up early in the morning and jumped into the discussion and like any good doobie research director she copied all involved…



Click, click, then the hard working public servant covereda final detail with the researcher…4 Pages + 16 Pages = 20 Pages

and still later…Now a hard working east coast university research director was up early in the morning and jumped into the discussion and like any good doobie research director she copied all involved…




Then the dutiful research replied to the hard workingpublic servant with a courteous Thank You and then addedthis email to the notebook. 5 Pages + 20 Pages = 25 Pages

The moral of the story?

Actually that last five pages had the whole story, and there really aren’t any pagination elves in the Western Region…that’s a fairy tale that scientists tell their spawn.
