channel logo. As when I took this print screen, it was towards Christmas, the banner has been edited to look wintery and snowy

to work accordingly to the time of year like the soap would be.

are necessary for the website

and include extra

information that may be

useful for viewers.

The main storyline is featured as the main

feature of the homepage

with images and links to

key characters involved in the main storyline.

Also a video is used to

show extra information

of the storyline to

new viewers.

Recaps of previous and future episodes is scrolling along the bottom so that the website links to where the viewer can watch the episode off of live time.

Hollyoaks A large image of a character in a humorous costume is shown with the title of the soap within the banner. The image suggests a low key soap with a humorous attitude. Also on the image features

when the next episode is due to be shown and what is being shown on the E4 channel.

Due to being the channel website and

not a website dedicated to the soap the links across

& win and WTF. These

pages link the soap to other programmes

and make sure the soap is

prominent in promotion of the channel. However on

The banner on this website is a plain banner with the title in a road sign frame. The background is a simple

cloudy dark sky that is included in all branding of Coronation Street media elements.
