The induced cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan & neighborhood extending upto 1.5 Km above mean sea level also persists. ♦ Under its influence, scattered to fairly widespread rain/snow is likely over western Himalayan region during 14th-16th November. Isolated heavy rain/snow and thunderstorm/hailstorm also likely over western Himalayan region on 14th & 15th November. ♦ Minimum temperatures very likely rise by 2-3°C during next 2-3 days over northwest India. Minimum temperatures very likely to fall over east & adjoining central India by 2-3°C during next 3 days. ♦ Moderate to dense fog in isolated pockets over Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during next 2 days. Main Weather Observations Rain/Thundershowers observed (from 0830 hours IST to 1730 hours IST of today): at isolated places over West Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Kerala & Mahe. Rainfall recorded at 1730 hours IST of today (1 cm or more) are:Phalodi & Barmer -2 each; Thunderstorm observed (from 0830 hours IST to 1730 hours IST of today): at isolated places over West Rajasthan and Kerala & Mahe. Maximum Temperature Departures as on 13-11-2019: Maximum temperatures are appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and East Rajasthan; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over Kerala & Mahe; at many places over Assam & Meghalaya, sub- Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and Chhattisgarh; at a few places over Konkan & Goa and Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and at isolated places over Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Vidarbha and coastal & South Interior Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. They are markedly below normal (-5.1°C or less) at many places over Jammu & Kashmir and at isolated places over West Rajasthan; appreciably below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at a few places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and at isolated places over Punjab; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over West Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra & Kutch and Madhya Maharashtra and near normal over rest parts of the country. Significant Weather Features

♦ The Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over Afghanistan & neighbourhood extending upto 9.6 Km above mean sea level persists. The induced cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan & neighborhood extending upto 1.5 Km above mean sea level also persists.

♦ Under its influence, scattered to fairly widespread rain/snow is likely over western Himalayan region during 14th-16th November. Isolated heavy rain/snow and thunderstorm/hailstorm also likely over western Himalayan region on 14th & 15th November.

♦ Minimum temperatures very likely rise by 2-3°C during next 2-3 days over northwest India. Minimum temperatures very likely to fall over east & adjoining central India by 2-3°C during next 3 days.

♦ Moderate to dense fog in isolated pockets over Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during next 2 days.

♦ Rain/Thundershowers observed (from 0830 hours IST to 1730 hours IST of today): at isolated places over West Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Kerala & Mahe.

♦ Rainfall recorded at 1730 hours IST of today (1 cm or more) are:Phalodi & Barmer -2 each;

♦ Thunderstorm observed (from 0830 hours IST to 1730 hours IST of today): at isolated places over West Rajasthan and Kerala & Mahe.

♦ The cyclonic circulation over Nagaland and neighbourhood extending upto 2.1 km above mean sea level persists.

♦ The cyclonic circulation between 1.5 km & 3.1 km above mean sea level over Andaman Sea neighbourhood persists.
