Soldiers, Parents of Children, Teens and Families. This is For You!

Using humor, real-life scenarios and poignant cases, Dr. Ken Ginsburg will

teach us how to help children build resilience. His unique perspective empha-

sizes the developmental strengths of youth, equipping participants with skills

needed to help teens and parents of children to teach kids to help themselves.

Admission is free. 1. You must RSVP to Ginny Wescott at 655-0669 or

[email protected] to attend. 2. Children attending the childcare service provided must be registered with Child, Youth & School Services (CYSS) in order to have childcare. Call 655-5314 to register with them. Chil-dren under 12 are not allowed in the chapel (for this event only). Teens, however, are encouraged to attend.

Honoring our Fallen Hero’s, Wounded Warriors &

Military Families in need

In an effort to raise awareness about the Tripler Fisher House and how we can assist our Military Families during a medical

crisis or loss, we are partnering with each Military Branch, community partners and other non-profit organizations who support

our Men & Women in uniform. This is open to military and civilians. There will be different vendors and information booths to

highlight what is available to our military families on Oahu within each Service as well as the community. There will also be a

Memorial Tribute of combat boots to line the path for the participants so we are always reminded that someone has paved the

path in which we are about to travel. More information to follow in the coming weeks. For more information and up to date

events follow us at www.facebook.com/triplerfisherhouse

Please help us collect a pair of boots to represent each Service Member who has died since 9/11, you may add a picture to that

pair to honor that Service Member and put a face to their honor. POC is Theresa Johnson @ 561-7423 or

[email protected] . Proceeds from Run portion will support the Tripler Fisher House 100% to continue

providing support to our Military Families .
