Mission & Outreach The BSUMC Crisis Ministry exists to lessen times of crisis for our neighbors by assisting with rent, utilities, food, counseling, and spiritual support. For the 16.8% of our city living in poverty, a small

intervention can provide great relief. Volunteer with the Crisis Ministry by contacting Joan.White@bsumc.com.The Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) allows families with children to stay together as they confront the daunting challenges of tackling homelessness. If you are ready to take the next step toward membership, we encourage you to sign up for our next Compass Class for new members which will be held in June 2019 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The class is offered in two sessions. Session One will be held on Sunday, June 23, and Session Two will be held on Sunday, June 30. Childcare is available for children ages 4 & under upon request. There is no obligation to join the church at the end of the class, but we hope you’ll use the time to learn more about us and to ask any questions you might have.
