He's not kidding you when Bill D. Sanders '63 says it's raining cats and dogs- or birds- or fish- or snakes in his ancient "Garden of Eden" home in Chicago.

The TV Art Director and TV Producer for Grey-North Advertising, Inc. , of Chicago, reports he has three cats, four snakes, one dog, 30 birds and a fraternity of tropical fish.

That isn't including himself, his wife, Lorna Bell, a belle at the University and an Alpha Omicron Pi, their son, Robert Bell Sanders, who is seven years old, or the plants and indoor trees (about 400 ).

The "entire family" is living in a Victorian house on Chicago's North Side which he is re-designing. Two of his previous apartments have appeared in the "Home" section of the Chicago Tribune.

A member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Bill has garnered many

awards from such illustrious groups as the Chicago Society of Typographic Arts, New York Film Festival, the Artist Guild and the Chicago Society of Communicating Arts.

Those don't include awards from Best Read Ads, Reader's Digest and the Chicago Film Festival awards for TV commercials.

In addition to his regular chores, Brother Sanders is a one-man corporation specializing in advertising illustrations dealing with children's book illustration, design consultation and dabbles in the field of fashion illustration in addition to several free-lance advertising accounts.
