Complete and submit by fax, email, or mail the International Student Application (here)2. Pay the non-refundable application fee of $55 (US funds ONLY). *only for degree seeking students3. Submit a copy of the identification page of your passport.4. Provide a Certificate of Finances form and recent bank statement.5. Provide copies in English of your academic records or transcripts from secondary and postsecondary
institutions. Course work taken at postsecondary institutions must be submitted for evaluation to an approved international credential evaluation company.
6. Provide official TOEFL, IELTS or SAT test scores. Student copies will not be accepted. If English is your native language, the SAT is required. The Western Carolina University code for TOEFL and SAT is 5897.

How to Apply: Graduate 1. Complete the online application for admission. 2. Pay the nonrefundable application fee. Application Fee: $653. Request official copies of transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended. 4. Have transcripts from non-US institutions evaluated by an approved agency for foreign transcripts. 5. Submit the Certification of Finances (pdf) 6. Submit required recommendation information.7. Submit any required additional program-specific materials. 8. Submit TOEFL or IELTS and have your scores submitted to WCU using Code 5897. This requirement
is waived for applicants who have successfully completed WCU's Intensive English Program (IEP).
Language proficiency for undergraduate admission is: iBT 68, PBT 520, or IELTS 6.

• A Skype interview is required for all applicants. Respond to our e-mails so that we can schedule this important meeting quickly. Be on time for your appointment. Your application cannot be processed without this.
• Pay the mandatory, non-refundable $55.00 application fee. Our office will e-mail you instructions after your application is processed. This must be done before your I-20 is created.
