First Sunday of Advent - December 3, 2017
I cannot imagine that I am completing ten years of priesthood. So fast and so soon! Yet, I still gladly hold on to, my vocation, a treasure of clay. When I look
back at all these years, I feel the need to repeat the words of the Blessed Virgin Mary, “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, the Almighty has done great things for me.” I praise the Lord for this ineffable gift of priesthood.
Together with my family and my Vocationist family, I remember those who helped me, encouraged me to approach the holy altar to participate in the glorious life-giving mysteries and ministries of the Church.
Finally, I turn to you, my family of Our Lady of Solace. By God’s grace, I was to become your pastor and have remained with you for the past three years. You know me well. I am yours. With you and for you. I thank each and everyone of you. My thanks are never enough for your good will and support.
Now I invite you all to join me for the celebration of a Holy Mass of Thanksgiving on Thursday, December 28th, 2017 at 6:30 PM in our church.

Primer Domingo de Adviento - 3 de diciembre de 2017
N o me puedo imaginar que estoy cumpliendo diez años de sacerdocio. ¡Tan rápido y tan pronto! Sin embargo, todavía y con mucho gusto me aferro a mi
vocación, un tesoro. Cuando recuerdo todos estos años, siento la necesidad de repetir las palabras de la Santísima Virgen María: "Mi alma proclama la grandeza del Señor, el Todopoderoso ha hecho grandes cosas por mí". Alabo al Señor por este inefable don de sacerdocio.
Junto con mi familia y mi familia Vocacionista, recuerdo a los que me ayudaron, me animaron a acercarme al altar sagrado para participar en los gloriosos misterios y ministerios vivificadores de la Iglesia.
Finalmente, recurro a ustedes, mi familia de Nuestra Señora del Consuelo. Por la gracia de Dios, me convertí en su pastor y he compartido con ustedes estos últimos tres años. Ustedes me conocen bien. Soy todo suyo. Con ustedes y para ustedes. Agradezco a todos y cada uno de ustedes. Mi agradecimiento nunca es suficiente para su buena voluntad y apoyo.
Ahora los invito a todos a acompañarme para la celebración de una Santa Misa de Acción de Gracias el jueves, 28 de diciembre de 2017 a las 6:30 PM en nuestra iglesia.
