Shakespeare Facts• Shakespeare wasn’t born into a rich family. His dad made gloves
and had to help out.
• The first time he watched a play was when he was 4, he loved the theatre and he would walk miles just to see one.
• When he grew older, he knew he wanted to be a playwright and he knew he had to try his best so he left his home and moved to London.
• Eventually he did become a famous playwright and wrote, we think, about 37 plays and 154 poems!!!
