Have a Spiral or Three Ring Binder. Keep all work, notes, quizzes, tests, extra-credit in notebook. At the end of the trimester, put your papers

BYOD or Bring Your Own Device is being encouraged at RSM. See Mrs. MATHews haiku site for the BYOD document. Math teachers have some school iPods available for students to share. If students have their own iPod or smart phone with app capability, they will be able to use their own devices in class.
Supply Extra CreditDuring the first full week of school I am giving extra credit for supply donations. This is optional. Have your child bring any combination of the following to room 7110 during the first full week of school for up to 12 extra credit points:•Hand Sanitizer -3 points• Paper Towels - 3 points• White board markers (pack) - 3 points• Package of pencils, or pens(red, green purple),or highlighters - 3 points each•Kleenex - 3 points per large box• iPod Case & App Donation - 1 point per $1• Spray cleaner for cleaning desk-tops - 3 points

Grading» Grades are based on total points and a
standard grading scale» 90-100% A etc.» Homework is 5 points per assignment based
on showing the problem & the work.» Quizzes are 50 points» Tests are 100 points» Final Exams are 150- 200 points» Extra Credit: Supply ex credit first week of
school, then only after a quiz or test.
