EXPERT BOOT-FITTINGIf you plan to ski during your stay, you can be fitted with appropriate boots and skis by a Gorsuch boot fitter upon check-in. Your information will then be transferred via computer to the Ski Concierge building, where your boots and skis will be selected and placed in a locker corresponding to your guest room. These state-of-the-art lockers have been imported from Switzerland and feature a system that air-dries boots and gear.
When you arrive at the Ski Concierge, your pre-fitted boots and skis will be ready and waiting – with your boots warmed and skis expertly waxed and tuned to suit the day’s conditions and your own personal preferences.

This magical event is a Vail tradition on New Year’s Eve. Come to the base of Golden Peak to watch a torchlight parade, as skiers form a glowing train as they ski down the mountain. Fireworks will light up the sky directly after the parade.
