tradition, this high energy event (full of gamesand team-building activities) has been re-
invented online to celebrate and welcome you tothe TCNJ family.
A Better High, 1:30-2:45p (Mandatory)The Alcohol & Drug Education Program (ADEP) is
thrilled to welcome back nationally renownedspeaker and comedian, Matt Bellace, PhD. Matt'sprogram is a mix of stand up comedy, interactive
demonstrations and inspirational stories tosupport students in making health choices.
Tips for Taking Classes Online, 4:00-5:00pLed by your Orientation Leaders and Griffins, this
session will share tips and answer yourquestions as you prepare to start your first
semester at TCNJ virtually.
Escape Room, Start Times: 4:00p; 5:00p; 6:00pYou’ll live chat with your team members, scourour virtual world, and examine the internet for
clues while racing against the clock. This is ahigh-stakes, all or nothing maximum speed
adventure to save your partner and make thebad guys pay. Maximum of 50 students per start

Mind Reading Show, 7:00-7:45pHosted by master mind reader and mentalist

PiYo with Emily, 9:00-10:00aPiyo is a fusion workout that includes cardio,
strength, yoga, and pilates. Choreographed withspecific music this class flows generally from
high to low intensity and is open to all skill levels!See Additional Notes for access instructions.
Building a More Inclusive TCNJ,10:00-11:15a (Mandatory)

Can I Kiss You?, 1:30-2:30p (Mandatory)The Office of Anti-Violence Initiatives (AVI) is
excited to welcome back national speaker (andWelcome Week veteran) Mike Domitrz! “Can IKiss You?” provides specific how-to skills forteaching consent, respect in relationships,
bystander intervention, and addressingsexual assault.
Digital Caricatures, 2:30-5:30pA speed sketcher caricature artist will draw
students individually and will upload the digitalcaricatures to a site where each student can
download their drawing for print or social media.Up to 100 students can be "in line" for a
caricature at any time; the artist can drawbetween 150-180 caricatures in a three hour
window. No registration required.

Liberal Learning: The "WHY",Various Times (Mandatory)
This hour-long interactive workshop will includean overview of the Liberal Learning program,followed by breakout sessions to apply the
domains to a current social issue. Workshops willbe led by Dr. Kit Murphy, Associate Provost for
Curriculum and Liberal Learning.
This session is for first-year and provisionalstudents only, and there are six workshop timesto choose from (between 10:00a-5:00p). Please

Students in the Class of 2024 (first-year andprovisional) will participate in mandatoryAcademic Welcome Day programming. A
separate schedule will be sent to you withfinalized zoom links and details but for planning
purposes in the meantime:

Wrap up Welcome Week 2020 by showcasingyour vocal talents! Hosted by the College Union
Board (CUB), TCNJ's student programmingorganization.

first-served basis.
