What can you do with a degree in Wellness/Fitness Management from UW-Superior? The Wellness/Fitness Management concentration prepares the student to work in a variety of entry level professional positions in the fitness and health promotion industry and preventive health and fitness, including wellness fields and health clubs. Health and Human Performance Wellness/Fitness Management graduates may work as personal trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, and fitness directors in settings ranging from corporate fitness, public and private fitness centers, athletic teams or community centers. Graduates may teach clients to reach optimal wellness through effective exercise, nutrition, and stress management strategies. They may perform fitness testing, conduct workshops, conferences or seminars on exercise, nutrition, stress management, and weight control. Academics Wellness/Fitness Management The Wellness/Fitness Management concentration focuses on promoting personal wellness and corporate fitness. Students wishing to move directly into the field of wellness and fitness may choose this major. Students are provided a solid foundational program combined with certifications, culminating in a practical experience through internship and senior experience projects.
