• Open to all secondary students • Year 5 & 6 if the student is ready• Encouraging year 7 to 9 to join bands• Grade 1/2 playing standard• Guitar, bass, drums, vocals and

keyboard• Other instruments welcome

Year Outline• Term 1 - Choose covers to prepare for end of term

show• Term 2 - Work on original material - songwriting

workshops for beginners and more advanced ideas on production and recording for the more experienced players. Putting a set together for the end of term show

• Term 3 - Versions. Trying out ideas using different genres. Thinking about other

aspects of being in a band. Style, logo, artwork, websites, promo etc.

• Roundwood Park - Mondays• Sir John Lawes - Wednesdays • Kings Langley - Thursdays• WSM - Thursdays

• Fleetville Junior School (yr 5-8) Thursdays - currently recruiting!!

• Youth Connexions run venues in Herts • Also studios including the XC studio in

Hemel - free to students.
