NOC Wilkin Hall rededication ceremony and

Foundation gift announcement set for May 13

A rededication ceremony and laying of a new time

capsule for the recently restored Northern Oklahoma

College (NOC) Wilkin Hall, and the announcement of

a gift to the NOC Foundation, will be held near the

front steps of Wilkin beginning at 11 a.m., Tuesday,

May 13. The public is invited to attend with

refreshments served.

Sheri Snyder, vice president for development and

community relations will serve as Mistress of

Ceremonies. Ron Chambers the Most Worshipful

Grand Master of the Masons of Oklahoma Grand

Lodge will preside over the rededication ceremony. In

addition to the rededication ceremony, an endowed

gift announcement from the Masonic Charity

Foundation of Oklahoma on behalf of the Masonic

Fraternity of Oklahoma will be presented to the NOC

Foundation.

Under the leadership of acting President George

W. Finley, the original Masonic cornerstone ceremony

took place on November 16, 1905, at that time the

second building constructed at the University

Preparatory School. The cornerstone laying was hailed

as the “Great event in the History of U.P.S.” by The

Tonkawa News, Nov. 16 edition.

“This will truly mark another historical day for

Northern Oklahoma College,” said Sheri Snyder. “Not

only do we get the opportunity to rededicate the

restoration of one of our historic buildings, we will

celebrate the announcement of an endowed gift to the

Foundation in support of our college mission.”

Most recently, NOC Tonkawa has invested over $1

million on the exterior restoration of both Harold Hall

and Wilkin Hall. As a result, the Oklahoma Historical

Society State Historic Preservation Office has notified

NOC that it will receive the 2014 State Historic

Preservation Officers Citation of Merit Award on June

5.

NOC summer work hours begin May 19

All NOC campuses will observe summer administrative office hours from Monday, May 19th, through Thursday, Aug. 1,

2014. Employees will work 10-hour days from 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with 30-minute lunch breaks Monday through Thursday

(offices will be closed on Fridays while summer hours are in effect).

Normal office hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday will resume on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014. (Fall semester

classes begin on Monday, Aug. 18).

Employees who desire to take an hour lunch break while summer hours are in effect should seek supervisor approval and

complete an annual leave form for the entire summer. The form should be returned to Niesha Jones by the close of offices on

Wednesday, May 14. The leave request will not be altered for sick days, vacation days or days when a full hour is not taken.

Time is to be used only to extend the lunch period to one hour. If full hour is not taken, time cannot be used to shorten the work

day. You must have adequate leave balance to participate.

NOC Enid wins regional opener

Enid News and Eagle — May 9, 2014

Northern Oklahoma College Enid, which scored only five runs in losing three out of four games to Redlands in the regular

season, busted out in a 7-4 win over the Cougars in the winners bracket semifinals of the Region 2 tournament Friday.

The Jets (33-21) will play Murray State, a 14-2 winner over NOC Tonkawa at 7 tonight in the winners bracket finals.

“We have gotten better as a team,’’ said a happy Jets head coach Raydon Leaton. “We’re a different team than we were

then. We have matured.’’

Jon Littell highlighted a five-run fifth for NOC Enid with a two-run homer over the center field fence. Korbin Polston was 4-

for-5 with a double and two RBI. Russ Colgan was 3-for-5 with two RBI. Nik Gifford was 2-for-5.

“We got some big hits today,’’ Leaton said. “Their starter (Cameron Hill) had some trouble with his command and we took

advantage of it.’’

The Jets’ Patrick O’Toole opened the game with a walk. Singles by Gifford and Littell loaded the bases and a Colgan two-

RBI single put the Jets up for good. NOC Enid added five runs in the fourth to complete its scoring.

Dillon Harp, Dyce Applegate and O’Toole walked to load the bases in the fourth inning. Polston followed with a two-RBI

single. Gifford grounded out to score O’Toole and Littell’s shot over the center field fence made it 7-0.

Jets starter Jon Chidester got the win. He allowed 10 hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walked two.

Scotty Harvill, normally a starter, got the save, allowing only one hit and struck out two over 21⁄3 innings. “We knew we had to have this game,’’ Leaton said. “Scotty has that closer’s mentality. We were hoping Jon would give us a

complete game, but he had thrown over 100 pitches.’’

Austin Hilton is scheduled to pitch tonight’s game. If the Jets win, they are in the championship round Sunday. If they lose,

they need to win three games to win the tournament.

Ban of Western shuffles bracket for NOC baseball

Enid News & Eagle — May 8, 2014

The Region 2 baseball tournament, which was already set back by the weather, was hit by another disruptive element

Thursday.

After self-reporting multiple violations, Western Oklahoma State, the 2011 NJCAA Division II World Series champion, now

has forfeited all 54 of its games from this season and was removed from the Region 2 baseball tournament.

Western earlier had dropped to the No. 6 seed in the tournament because it had to forfeit six games for using an ineligible

player.

The Pioneers’ dropping from the tournament forced a new bracket to be put in place.

Northern Oklahoma College Enid now plays Redlands, a team which took three out of four games from the Jets, in the

opening week of conference play, at 3:30 p.m. today.

Carl Albert, which originally was the Jets’ first-round opponent, now plays NOC Tonkawa at noon. Murray State plays the

winner at 7.

“It doesn’t matter whether Western is there or not,’’ said Jets head coach Raydon Leaton. “We still have to win games.

That’s our only concern. We would have eventually had to play Redlands. We just have to take care of business.’’

The noon and 3:30 losers play at noon Saturday. That winner plays the 7 p.m. loser at 3:30. The 3:30 and 7 p.m. winners

play at 7 Saturday.

There will be another elimination game at 1 p.m. Sunday. The finals are at 4 p.m. If a second championship is necessary, it

will be played at 1 p.m. Monday.

“I think we’re a lot better team now than when we played against Redlands,’’ Leaton said. “If we put together three good

games, we can win it. If you keep winning, you’re in good shape.’’

Leaton said he was undecided about his pitching rotation.

Durant’s Loyd signs to play soccer for Lady Mavs DurantDemocrat.com2 days 18 hours ago |196 Views

Durant’s own Caroline Loyd will kick her soccer career up a

notch when she joins the roster at Northern Oklahoma College-

Tonkawa this fall.

Loyd, surrounded by parents, coaches and teammates,

accepted an offer to play at the two-year school. A short

scholarship-signing ceremony was Tuesday at Durant High

School.

“It feels great,” Loyd said. “Everyone’s here to support me

and I’m thankful. This has always been one of my goals to play

at the college level.”

Loyd was a center midfielder for head coach Jeff Garrett’s

Lady Lions, who just wrapped up their season not long ago.

Now, Loyd will jump into the collegiate realm with the Lady

Mavericks, who play their games in the fall. First-year NOC-Tonkawa soccer coach Joshua Smith said he saw two outstanding

aspects of Loyd’s game.

“First, her vision of the field and ability to work passing lanes correctly,” he said. “The other is her tenacity. She isn’t afraid

of contact and can push people around if she needs to, even if they are five or six inches taller.”

The Lady Mavs reached the national soccer tournament in 2011 and finished ranked 16th in 2012 before an 8-6-1 season in

2013. Loyd looks forward to adding her skills this August.

“They have a really good soccer program,” she said. “It feels like a really good place to go.” She credits Garrett and assistant coach Crystal Thompson for teaching her the skills to advance.

“The coaches here are really great, and the support of my teammates has been great too,” Loyd said.

Parents Gracie and Eddie Loyd pointed out that their daughter will be receiving a diploma of distinction and is an honors

graduate of the DHS class of 2014.

NOC Women Add 3 Recruits The Ponca City News — 5/8/2014

TONKAWA — Three more athletes have signed letters of intent to play women’s basketball at Northern Oklahoma

College-Tonkawa.

According to information released by women’s coach Greg Krause, the three latest signees are Paj Jackson of Lawton,

Bryenne Jones of Moore and Danielle Harrison of Oklahoma City.

Jackson is a 5-foot-6 guard who played at Lawton MacArthur. She averaged 14.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, three assists and 3.3

steals per game.

She also participates in track competing in four events.

Jackson was named to the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association Large West All-State team, the Oklahoma

Coaches Association All-State team, the All-Lawton area team, and was named to all-tournament teams at Altus, Deer Creek

and Shawnee.

“Paj is an aggressive, athletic guard who fits perfectly in the style we like to play,” Krause said. “She’s a tough competitor

and outstanding team leader.

Jones is a 5-11 post player who competed at Moore High School.

She averaged 5.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.

She was named to the All-Mid-State Conference Honorable Mention team, and won the Lady Lion Pride Award.

“Bry is a physical post presence who will

help our toughness in the lane,” Krause said.

“She can score left or right-handed on the

blocks. We expect her to contribute right

away.”

Harrison is a 5-8 forward who played at

Western Heights. She was named All-

Suburban Conference honorable mention,

and to the Large West All-Region team.

“Dani will help provide depth for us at

the guard and forward positions,” Krause

said. She has a good understanding of the

game and plays very intelligent basketball.”

USAF (retired) and currently serving

as the Oklahoma Secretary of Military

and Veterans Affairs, addressed the

candidates for graduation and the capacity crowd during commencement exercises. She also spoke at the NOC Tonkawa

commencement held earlier that morning in the Foster-Piper Fieldhouse on the Tonkawa campus. She spoke of graduation

being a beginning not an end and challenged the graduates to serve their communities and country, and to be thankful for the

freedom and all the wonderful conveniences available to them in United States.

A combined total of 882 NOC associate degrees were conferred upon 847 students during the NOC 2014 graduation

Graduation Exercises Honor Total of 882 At NOC-Tonkawa By L0UISE ABERCROMBIE, News Staff Writer — 5/4/2014

TONKAWA – Major General (ret.) Rita Aragon, commencement speaker for Northern Oklahoma College (NOC),

challenged the graduates to “serve” their communities and country during the graduation exercises Saturday morning on the

Tonkawa campus.

A patriotic theme resonated throughout the ceremony in the filled to capacity Foster Piper Field House. The audience stood

as the Pledge of Allegiance was performed by the NOC Choir and Band. This was followed by an Armed Forces Salute by the

NOC Madrigal Singers and Concert Band, arranged by Bob Lowden ad Edward Dixon. Members of the military past and

present were asked to stand as the song branch of their military service played. The audience, recognizing each of the military

songs, applauded as the past and present soldiers stood.

Dr. Cheryl Evans, first woman president of NOC, in her opening remarks, recognized the largest graduating class ever of

NOC. A total of 882 graduates were receiving degrees today (Saturday). The graduation ceremony for the Enid campus was

held Saturday afternoon.

Evans mentioned this year both the Roustabouts and the NOC Foundation had celebrated 50th anniversaries. She also

announced for the third year NOC has been recognized the Aspen Institute, the only two year college to be so honored in

Oklahoma. She reiterated the theme of the college is “Life Changing”. Regarding the large number of graduates, Evans noted

they are in keeping with Gov. Mary Fallin’s graduate degree program. Fallin is the first woman Oklahoma governor.

Introducing Major General Aragon, Evans noted she was the first woman and the fourth Oklahoma Secretary of Military and

Veterans’ Affairs and a liaison to the Gov. Mary Fallin for all Oklahoma military and veteran’s issues. Aragon served as the

first female commander of the Oklahoma National Guard, the first female to command a state’s Air National Guard and the first

female of Native American ancestry to become a general officer.

Aragon addressing the students said “This is not the end, but the beginning.” She challenged the graduates to serve their

communities and country in some capacity. She spoke of the many conveniences the people of the United States take for

granted and how much of the world’s population does not have access to these conveniences including processed food, water

and private sleeping quarters. At one point Aragon, a native of Dale, Okla., noted her family did not have indoor plumbing until

she was 12 years old.

She noted that most of the graduates have access to refrigerated food, canned goods and packaging, while half of the world

goes to bed hungry every night. She also mentioned there are those in Oklahoma who also go to bed hungry. The retired

military general challenged the graduates to serve and to live up to their potential.

Aragon asked all the military personnel to stand, and noted there are 359,000 veterans in Oklahoma that have defended the

constitution of the United States. She asked the students to do the same to learn to work and to serve.

The graduates dressed in NOC red gowns and caps, added to the patriotic flavor of the ceremony. Among the many Ponca

Citians in attendance were Jeff Cowan, vice chairman of the NOC Regents, and Linda Brown, Secretary of the Regents and

their spouses.

Four Lady Jets on All-Region softball team

Enid News and Eagle — May 6, 2014

ENID, Okla. — Northern Oklahoma College Enid’s first-year softball program landed four players on the All-Region 2 team

announced Tuesday.

Honored were pitcher Summer Leitka, outfielder Lacy Shipp, utility player Kori Barrios and designated player Selika

Shives.

Outfielder Avery Walker was a second-team selection. Infielder Taylor Todd was an honorable mention pick.

Only regular season champion Seminole had more first-team selections with five. NEO also had four picks.

The team was selected by league coaches. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players.

“Isn’t that awesome,’’ said Lady Jets coach Jamie Roberts. “They made an impression. They had great freshman seasons,

and everybody expects them to do the same thing next year. That’s just remarkable.’’

Leitka was 24-9 with a 2.40 ERA and 220 strikeouts in 1871⁄3 innings. She was virtually a one-woman pitching staff the

final few weeks of the season after co-ace Kendra Coleman was dismissed from the team.

Shipp batted .393 with seven doubles, 16 home runs and 40 RBI. She had a slugging percentage of .800 and scored 35 runs.

Barrios, after reporting late from basketball, gave the Lady Jets a boost offensively and defensively behind the plate. She hit

.416 with 14 doubles, four home runs and 21 RBI. She had a slugging percentage of .708 and scored 20 runs.

Shives hit .340 with 14 doubles, one triple, nine home runs and 32 RBI. She had a slugging percentage of .610 and scored 31

runs.

Walker hit .320 with six doubles, two home runs and 15 RBI. She scored 33 runs.

Todd hit .302 with nine doubles, six home runs and 34 RBI. She scored 26 runs.

The Lady Jets finished fourth in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference and had a 38-20 overall record.

“I couldn’t be happier with how things turned out and what the girls achieved,’’ Roberts said about the first year. “I was

proud how they represented the school and how involved they were in the community.’’

NOC Tonkawa nursing students pinned

The Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa campus Nursing Class of 2014 received their nursing pins from family members

or friends in a special ceremony in the Kinzer Performing Arts Center May 2.

Ponca City students participating in the ceremony were Sarah Allen, pinned by her husband Daniel, son Gabrielle and

mother Ronda; Tessa Anderson, by her parents Robert and Darlene Anderson; Mollie Brown, by her mother Julie, father Paul,

sister Alison and boyfriend Jay; Kimberlee Burgess, by her aunt Carrie Burgess; Lou Anne Flowers, by her husband Steve and

son Sam.

Also, Amanda Grider, by her parents David and Anne Grider; Rebekah Koch, by her husband Nate; Lisa Lewis, by her

Teresa Rhynard, RN, MS-Ed, presented Lewis with the annual Faculty Spirit of Nursing Award, determined by secret ballot

of the nursing faculty and given to the student exhibiting outstanding qualities of leadership, attitude, caring, intelligence and

knowledge.

Flowers received the annual Student Spirit of Nursing Award from Rhynard. The award is determined by secret ballot of the

class and recognizes the student who because of his or her knowledge, attitude and leadership embodies the best example of a

nurse.

After class members entered in a procession to Louis Armstrong’s version of “What a Wonderful World,” Cammie Fast,

RCN-OB, MS and sophomore team coordinator, welcomed guests to the Nursing Pinning Ceremony to celebrate the

achievement of the student nurses. June Buller, RN, MS, read the Nurses’ Prayer before recognizing the nursing faculty.

Thompson, president of the Student Nurses Association, presented Division of Nursing Chair Jeanine Deterding and Staff

Assistant Dianna Ditmore with potted plants in appreciation for their help and support of the Class of 2014.

Keynote speaker Vanessa Wright, RN, MSN, NOC faculty, addressed the graduating nurses and their guests. Before the

presentation of the Nursing Awards, Allen sang “I Hope You Dance.”

After receiving their pins, regarded as part of the professional uniform, the class recited the Florence Nightingale Pledge led

by Rhynard. Following the Candlelight Ceremony conducted by Rhynard, the students carried candles symbolizing their

commitment to the nursing profession during the recessional, Pharrell Williams’ “Happy.” A reception and slide show

presentation in the Renfro Center concluded the evening.

At their respective ceremonies, 77 students from the Tonkawa, Enid and Stillwater classes received the distinctive pins

signifying completion of their Registered Nurses’ education at Northern. After successful completion of final examinations,

they are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN examination in June.

NOC boys’ basketball camp applications are now available

Applications for “Success Is a Choice,” the NOC boys’ basketball day camp, are now being accepted, according to

Northern Oklahoma College Head Men’s Basketball Coach Donnie Jackson. Camp dates on the Tonkawa campus are

June 2-4, 1-3:30 p.m. for boys entering Grades 1-3; June 16-18, 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. for boys entering Grades 4-6; and June

16-18, 1–3:30 p.m. for boys entering Grades 7-9.

“Reservations need to be made in advance,” said Jackson, who will direct the camp with the aid of several camp

coaches. “The camp for Grades 1-3 is a skills development camp and the camps for Grades 4-6 and Grades 7-9 are

shooting camps.”

No meals will be served; however, a concession stand will be available.

All participants will receive a camp T-shirt. Each camper will be covered by an excess medical insurance policy,

NOC girls’ basketball camp applications are now available Applications for the NOC Lady Mavs summer girls’ basketball camp are now being accepted, according to Northern

Oklahoma College Head Women’s Basketball Coach Greg Krause. Camp dates on the Tonkawa campus are June 2-4 for girls

entering Grades 1-3, June 8-13 for girls entering Grades 4-7 and July 6-11 for girls entering grades 8-12.

Krause said, “Air conditioned dorms house our campers. Two gyms are available, the main gym being air conditioned. Also,

a six-lane, Olympic-size indoor swimming pool is open for the campers’ use, and our college cafeteria provides meals.” Each

camper will receive a T-shirt and a regulation size camp basketball.

The training includes mass drills and station drills. Team fast break offense skills will be taught, including work on floor

balance, filling lanes, court spacing, advancing the ball and proper shot selection. Competitions in one-on-one, two-on-two and

three-on-three drills, a free throw contest and league games are part of the daily schedule.

NOC‘s DMI Accepting Applications The Digital Media Institute (DMI) at Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa is now accepting applications for the 2014-2015

school year. Applications can be downloaded at http://dmi.noc.edu

The DMI program focuses on specific methods used to transform ideas and concepts of digital media into creative digital

portfolios and demo reels that show the skills needed for today’s competitive employment environment. Currently, DMI

students are working on a project for a company that is producing a documentary on the sinking of the Sultana, the worst

maritime disaster in American history. They also created more than 30 short promotional segments for the 25th Anniversary of

Remington Park and for the 25th Running of the Oklahoma Derby.

According to Brad Matson, DMI director, “The DMI program is designed to examine the technologies and techniques

commonly used in animation and design. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that can help students gain digital design and

animation skills as well as experience in the real world production environment. ”

All students are immersed into the essentials of broadcast design, 2D and 3D animation, visual effects, digital filmmaking,

video production and interactive DVD authoring, thus gaining the basis for the specialized instruction within the DMI.

“Students will gain the skills necessary not only to work effectively in the existing areas of digital media production but to help

shape the future of technology as an employee as well,” Matson said.

DMI graduates will have the knowledge and skills necessary to communicate their ideas through the art of advanced

computer graphics in order to gain entry-level work or employment that could offer greater challenges in gaming, motion

graphics, visual effects and video/film production.

Job opportunities in the entertainment industry exist in video game asset creation, broadcast design, visual effects and digital

film. Other opportunities are in the fields of government, healthcare, military and industrial professions with simulations and

animations, advertising, communications and marketing, commercial spots, bumpers, rebranding, social media promotions,

station identity and corporate identity.

Also, openings exist in web design and development, including streaming media, nonlinear editing for video production and

digital films. Several companies contact Matson when they have a position to fill.

“CVW Media in Norman has six DMI graduates working for them,” Matson said. “Kevin Hanley, CEO of CVW Media,

loves the creativity and the work ethic of DMI students, so he hires some of my students every year. Digital Tutors, world-wide

leader in online media, currently has five graduates employed at the studio.”

Coursework in the Digital Media Animation and Design program includes 3D modeling, texturing, animation and

rendering in Autodesk’s award winning Maya, 3DS Max and Mudbox; motion graphics for broadcast and film with Adobe

Photoshop and After Effects; nonlinear digital video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro; designing and creating web sites for

showcasing student talents using Adobe’s Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash; and authoring DVD’s for student demo reels

with Adobe’s Encore and Audition.

Matson studied film making and video productions at the University of Oklahoma and has worked in the media field for the

past 26 years with TV studios, film companies, Digital Tutors, commercial work for Remington Park, RSI, AT&T and

Cingular. Employed at NOC for more than 13 years, he has received numerous awards and award nominations recognizing his

achievements in higher education.

In 2009 he received the prestigious 2009 DaVinci Fellow Award, given to college instructors for creative thinking in higher

education. He was acknowledged for his creative approach to video design and for giving students practical work experience

during their educational program based on his partnership with “Game=Life,” a video game production company founded by

Northern DMI graduate Adam Grantham. Through this partnership, DMI students contributed to a medicinal video game that

Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach (Enid) Northern Oklahoma College-Enid, a member of the NJCAA and Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference, is accepting

applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach will be

responsible for assisting the head coach in all facets of the women’s basketball program. This individual will assist in planning,

organizing, and implementing all practice schedules and game strategies. The individual also needs to be able to successfully

recruit highly competitive student athletes. Secondary duties include: Tracking of student athlete progress, including by not

limited to supervising study halls, arrangement of travel schedules/meals, and student advisement. The assistant will also aid in

the promotion of NOC basketball players to university coaches. There will be other duties assigned by the Head Women’s

Maintains alumni database records for the college

Maintains institutional archives and the A.D. Buck History and Welcome Center

Assists with bulk mailings as it relates to alumni and community relations

Communicates frequently with alumni through correspondence (individual, mass and electronic) and personal

interaction on all alumni activities, campus activities and alumni related issues

Maintains the NOC Alumni and Friends Association

Partner with and support the college’s development program, including serving as a cultivator and solicitor of

charitable gifts

Plans and directs all activities, both on and off campus related to Alumni and Community Relations

Position Title: Coordinator of Residence Life & Student Activities


Reports to: Dean of Students - Enid

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Dean of Students, the Coordinator of Residence Life and Student Activities will coordinate all

aspects of the Residence Life, Student Activities, Intramural, & Wellness Center programs on the Enid Campus.


Provide leadership for a comprehensive residence life and student activities program that encourages student learning,

enhances the overall college experience, contributes to community building, and promotes leadership development;

Apply conflict resolution strategies, and meets and confers with students as necessary to address interpersonal conflicts and

facilitate agreeable outcomes.

Develop, promote, and coordinate and support residence life and student activities programs and services;

Plan, implement, support and supervise campus events and student organizations;

Coordinate and provide leadership for the campus Intramural Program;

Develop and implement a program of publicity and outreach activities to inform and involve students;

Assist with the coordination of major campus events such as New Student Orientation, Homecoming, Spring Fling, Concerts,

Graduation, etc.;

Develop and implement a program of events and activities to generate enthusiasm and attendance at athletic events;

Initiate Community Service programs and activities; train and Supervise Student employees;

Participate in the on-call rotating duty system and respond to crisis and emergency situations;

Provide support and management of the summer camps and conference residential program, and all summer residence hall

renovation projects; attend and supervise evening events for student activities and the intramural program

QUALIFICATIONS: This is a full-time (12 month) live-in position which manages the daily operations of an on-campus

residence hall program. The position is responsible to appropriately respond to issues and crises that arise in a sensitive, timely,

confidential and competent manner. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

satisfactorily. The position requires strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, and should have the ability to

manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a willingness to provide a high level of customer service.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE: A minimum education level of Bachelor’s degree is required. CPR certification is

required. A Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or related discipline is preferred. Prior

experience in Residence Life and/or Student Activities to include leadership development and mentoring is preferred.

· Work with the area communities – chambers, businesses, industries, schools to provide general public relations for

NOC.
