wInsight has been added as a product in the EPMSA system

Capability to track users and limit the number of users logged in at any one time

wInsight SecuritySYSADMIN User and Group

Members of the SYSADMIN Group have all the privileges of the SYSADMIN user

Members of SYSADMIN group login under their own user ID but have all the privileges of the SYSADMIN user

SYSADMIN (user or group member) has access to all projects and processes

wInsight SecurityUsers and Group changes

wInsight users and groups will be managed by separate EPMSA security manager application

Users can belong to multiple groups

Access to a project can be by user or group – the system will allocate highest level of access based on assignment.

If a user is a member of the SYSADMIN group they automatically have access to all projects and options

have a default role When assigned to a

project they can be assigned with a different role

Assigned role (if specified) used when a project is selected

wInsight SecurityUpgrade/Conversion Users and Groups will be converted on upgrade to version

8.1 Conversion will separate Domain and Username into

separate fields (where used) Rename facility provided to assist with conversion where

longer names used Will be possible to install into existing Cobra/Open Plan/PMC

database in which case existing users and groups in the database will be used

in Acumen

A wInsight Export will be added to Acumen which will export Metric details and results Cost, schedule and resource data relating to results

Metrics Import wInsight Analytics Import

has been extended to include Control Account and Work Package data plus Metric data

Schedule data can also be taken from the Acumen import

Select DCDE as the import file type instead of XML
