Dear Friend:

If you’ve ever taken a good look at the application process for RTO certification, you’ll agree that ‘amazingly confusing’ is an understated description.

The amount of legal red tape surrounding this task will leave you wondering how anyone ever makes the cut.

• The self-assessment portion of the application (your first step) lists 71 key standards your organisation must comply with. (It begins with a two-page definition of terms, which should tell you what kind of mental gymnastics you’re in store for)

• You need to be thoroughly familiar with the VET Quality Framework. On its own, this is comprised of five extensive elements

• Your proposed course must meet the Standards for VET Accredited Courses. This means it must comply with the detailed criteria found in the Training Package Development Handbook

• Instructors must meet the Fit and Proper Persons requirements. (With only 11 key points, this is probably the most manageable hurdle to leap over!)

• As of October 2013, your organisation must also complete a financial viability risk assessment pack. Company owners will not do. Only a nominated accountant can handle this task

• And just to add another kerosene soaked log to the flame, one misstep in any of the above listed areas, and not only will your application be denied… your application and audit fees (up to $10,360 per course) will NOT be refunded

However, using the Amina Alliance RTO Partnership model, you do not have to do any of the above. We have done all that for you…

Not only does Reuben Brennan of GTI offer nationally recognised training (just like atraditional RTO), he also brings in 7 figures a year without getting knee-deep in compliance regulations. Reuben’s story perfectly demonstrates the power of our RTO Alliance Partnerships.

“At the outset of GTI we had quite humble aspirations. We were mainly focused on inspiring and influencing the staff that were already within our employment.

Quite honestly, we didn’t have the inclination or resources to jump all the hurdles associated along the path of becoming an RTO. Instead, we sought a partnership so we could focus on inspiring our trainees and positively influencing those in our industry.

From humble origins of registering only a couple of trainees, we’ve gone on to school over 1,000 people within the last 3 years. In 2011, we generated $218,000 in training revenue. 2013 is now winding down and we’re already up to $1,512,000. That’s an incredible 600% increase in only two years!”

“That’s an incredible 600% increase in only two years!”

The RTO Alliance Partnership For You!

What is the RTO Alliance Partnership? It works quite simply.

Amina Academy Pty Ltd is a Registered Training Organisation.

However, instead of having our own course catalog (like a traditional RTO), we form mutually beneficial relationships with individuals and businesses that would like to reap the benefits of becoming a Registered Training Organisation, without having to personally go through the hassle, compliance and administrative hassle of the actual certification process.

After joining our Alliance Partnership program, you’ll be able to provide your clients and/or team members with nationally registered qualifications.

Whether You Want to Run Your Training Business Entirely Over the Internet, or You’d Prefer to Work With Clients in Real Life, Your Company Will Have the Credentials to do so. You’ll be piggybacking on our RTO status… using our expertise, systems and support to offer Nationally Registered Training.

And that’s a winning combination because…

In good economic times and bad, being able to offer nationally recognised training is a permanent bet on the winning horse

Where do Australians go when the economic forecast looks bleak? Back to school!

How about when they need to increase their employment opportunities? Back to school!

And when employers need their employees to meet certain standards? They send them back to school.

Education is one of the few areas that survive booms and busts alike. For many people, education is a necessary step for financial improvement.

So being able to offer nationally recognised qualifications are easily one of the best financial advantages you can give your organisation.

Here’s what one of our clients has to say…

Craig Grigg, QUEENSLAND INSTITUTE OF ENGLISH

Some examples of how you can use our RTO Alliance.

“More and more businesses and employers, both in Australia and overseas, demand that their staff hold qualifications that are recognised.

National recognition gives your courses an edge in that your students/clients can have the confidence that the knowledge you have imparted to them is coupled with a certificate and statement of attainment that they can continually use throughout their careers without question marks concerning authenticity/validity of their course (your training).”

Some examples of how you can use our RTO Alliance.

What I’m going to do now is talk you through some examples of different partners we work with. But before I can do that I need to explain some key terms in our Industry:

Oh and by the way, do not worry if you do not follow absolutely everything as once you are an approved client we guide you through this process step by step, and we do most of the work for you.

ASQA … which stands for the Australian Skills Quality Authority. They are the national regulator for Australia’s vocational education and training sector. ASQA regulates courses and training providers to ensure nationally approved quality standards are met.

You could say, they are my boss. They tell me what I have to do … and they check that I am doing it.

The next critical resource for RTO’s is the website known as training.gov.au. Training.gov.au is the official National Register on Vocational Education and Training in Australia. It is the authoritative source of information on training packages, qualifications, accredited courses, units of competencies, skills sets and Registered Training Organisations.

Once you become registered by ASQA as an RTO, you are listed on training.gov.au. The website lists the qualifications you have been approved by ASQA to deliver.

It is critical to understand that as an RTO you can only deliver and assess the specific qualifications or accredited courses that ASQA has approved you to deliver and assess. And each RTO has gone through an application and/or audit process to be able to deliver and assess each of those qualifications.

In our industry, there is a term known as on scope. An RTO may be asked the question, “Do you have Certificate IV in Business on scope? This means has ASQA approved your RTO to deliver and assess Certificate IV in Business. If the answer is yes, the current version of Certificate IV in Business will be listed on your scope on training.gov and your RTO can deliver and assess the qualification.

So, now that you understand the basics of the terms ASQA, training.gov and on scope … I can now explain the three different sorts of partners we look after. I’ll explain each type, then I’ll go through in detail how we work which each type of partner and how we get them to the point of them delivering nationally recognized qualifications to their own clients.

And remember … don’t worry if you do not follow absolutely everything as once you are an approved client we guide you through this process step by step, and we do most of the work for you.

• The first type of partner is one who wants to offer a qualification to their clients that we already have on scope• The second type of partner is one who wants to offer a qualification to their clients that we don’t currently have on scope• The third type of partner is one who wants to create their own unique course … one that doesn’t even exist on training.gov

Let’s now work through each of those scenarios.

This first example is one where a partner wants to offer a qualification to their clients and we already have that qualification on scope.

A contact trainer had been referred to me. She previously owned a very successful franchise on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. She and her husband had sold the franchise but had a passion for training. She was doing some work for another RTO but really wanted to build her own contract training business. Given their experience in owning the franchise, they designed a training strategy specifically for that franchise. The qualifications they were offering the franchise were Certificate III in Retail for their operational staff and Certificate IV in Frontline Management for their supervisors.

Amina Academy already had both of these qualifications on scope. In addition, all delivery and assessment resources were available for this new contract trainer to commence training as soon as they sourced their first students.

With this model you can be training your first students in nationally recognized qualifications in as little as a few weeks.

The qualification is on scope, the delivery and assessment resources are ready … you just need to provide the students.

This model could also work for you if you are already delivering workshops or training but the training is not currently nationally recognized.

For example, you may be running leadership workshops, sales workshops, customer service training or some other type of training or development for businesses.

We already have many qualifications on our scope that could be mapped against what you offer. We have a mapping specialist who works with us. She compares what you currently deliver against the units of competency in the relevant qualification. It may be the case that you are already delivering a lot of what is contained in the qualification.

The next question is what activities do you get your students to complete? In RTO world assessment is critical. You cannot issue qualifications or statements of attainment unless the student has been assessed as competent against all the elements and performance criteria of the unit. Our mapping specialist will identify any gaps.

In addition she will work together with you to enhance your program to ensure it meets the requirements of the nationally recognized qualification you are seeking for your clients.

Again, it is possible to complete this process in a matter of weeks and have you up and running offering qualifications to your existing clients.

Remember … don’t worry if you do not follow absolutely everything. Once you are an approved client, we guide you through this process step by step and we do most of the work for you.

Let’s now work through an example of a scenario where a partner wants to offer a qualification that we do not have on our scope … as yet.

At Amina Academy, we are happy to add qualifications to our scope for our partners, as long as the business partner can demonstrate that there is a market need and demand for the qualification.

Amina Academy then has to apply to ASQA to get the qualification added to scope. As you can imagine, there is a very structured process that must be followed. Many documents must be

submitted to provide evidence that Amina Academy can competently deliver and assess the qualification. Again, we have templates and a specialist on our team who works together with our partner and submits the application.

We have had some applications approved in as little as 7 business days, to up to two months, depending on the industry, risk rating and level of the qualification. I advise partners that the process can take up to 3 months, however the reality is most applications have been approved in much shorter timeframes.

We treat the application as a priority. Whilst we are waiting for approval the partner can focus on their marketing strategies, so once the qualification is approved you are ready to start taking applications.

During this approval period, we can also get our writing specialist working on getting all your delivery and assessment resources together … again so you are all ready to deliver once the approval is granted.

Let’s now work through the final scenario where a partner wants to create their own unique course … one that doesn’t even exist on training.gov. All nationally recognized qualifications that appear on training.gov.au have been developed by Industry Skills Councils. In addition though, private companies can create their own course, get it approved by ASQA and then it can appear on training.gov.

The process is an intense, detailed process however in summary the main criteria is that the course must be unique (this means that there can be no similar qualification that already exists on training.gov) and it must be proven that there is an industry need AND that the course addresses that proven industry need.

Once again, we have a specialist that works together with our partners and looks after the entire application process. It is very difficult to judge how long the approval process can take as once the application is submitted it is in the hands of ASQA.

What we are involved in for you is the research, development and writing of the course. Extensive industry consultation and validation is also required.

Our recent successful application for one of our clients was based on “Stress strategies” and they can now offer their very own unique accredited course using us as their partnered RTO to do so.

So as you can see, it is not just about getting their course approved but long term relationships with our clients.

So once we are working with you if this option seems the most suitable, you can also get your very own unique nationally recognized accredited course.

Amina Academy would then apply to have it on their scope … as you cannot actually deliver and assess the course without working together with a Registered Training Organisation.

At that point, your students would then be able to study and receive a Diploma or Certificate IV in your nationally recognized accredited course … the course that you created and OWN … it is now formally recognized by the government.

“I was a casual vocational trainer getting paid by the hour… but only when the work was available. Knowing I was never going to make my fortune or have predictability of income continuing this way, I decided to look around for my own business… I wanted to earn a good living and work for me.

It wasn’t long before I met Suzie Crawford at Amina Academy… and, as they say, the rest is history! In 2 years I went from $2,000 per month to over $10,000 per month and have never looked back since. In fact, I now have people working for me.

I was surprised how simple and quick it was to build the business using Amina’s business model combined with the invaluable assistance and support from Suzie and her staff. It has allowed me to grow... in a way I never thought possible. What I love most… with this unique partnership… all the hassle and stress that goes with being an RTO just isn’t there for me under this business model.

I’ve got the best of both worlds… earning a stack of money without the normal risks associated with compliance, resourcing and funding issues that an RTO has.My advice to anyone thinking of building their own training business… go directly to Amina Academy.

They will ensure you have all the tools you need to offer nationally recognised qualifications in your own field... a great point of difference from your competitors!”

Here’s another success story of one of our Alliances…

Back in 2011, Sharyn Watson was a casual trainer for several different organizations. Like many in her field, she often found herself financially frustrated by the lack of ongoing work. That’s when she took the crucial step towards securing her future by becoming an Alliance Partner.

Within a short period of time, she ended up securing several training contracts through her network.

By adding nationally recognised training to her menu, Sharyn QUADRUPLED her income - (without losing a single night’s sleep on RTO certification).

Partnering with Amina Academy means...

“I Went From $2K a Month to a Thriving Six Figure Training Business in Less Than 2 Years”

Partnering with Amina Academy means:

• You can start offering nationally recognised training within a short time

• You can cover one or more different accredited qualifications

• You’ll be able to create your own proprietary accredited course - For example, if you’ve developed a sales system for call centre employees, you can turn that core knowledge into a vocational competency based course - At that point, your students would be able to receive a Diploma or Certificate IV

• You’ll earn practically the same amount of revenue as a formally certified RTO, but you’ll avoid all the government headaches

You Don’t Have to be a Teacher or a Training Pro to Reap the Benefits!

The great thing about partnering with Amina Academy is that companies and motivated individuals from all walks of life work with us. From those in the travel and tourism industry to child care, construction, customer service and beyond. They cover traditional business topics to growing a green business. If there’s a subject you’re passionate about, we can help you bring it to life.

Best of all, you don’t even need training experience.

• Even if you’d just like to be the business owner brawn behind the operation, you can always hire managerial and training staff to tackle the hands-on tasks - Think of us as a franchise for training success

• Coaches, consultants, experts and authors… you are in a powerful position because you’re probably sitting on a tidy little client list already - Partnering with us means you’ll be able to take your existing program and turn it into a nationally accredited course. Talk about an instant credibility booster!

• If you currently run a non-accredited training company - great! - Getting accreditation will allow you to raise your prices AND attract more clients because you’ll have a highly sought after edge over your non-accredite competitors.

• If your company offers in-house training, becoming an Amina Academy partner will allow your staff to have nationally recognized credentials.

• And if you’re already an accredited trainer, this is a prime opportunity to break free from that 9-to-5 gig and work independently - Yes, you will need to get your own clients, but the financial payoff could be significantly more lucrative. How much more lucrative, you wonder?

Not only does Reuben Brennan of GTI offer nationally recognised training (just like atraditional RTO), he also brings in 7 figures a year without getting knee-deep in com-pliance regulations.

We’re Experts at Creating These Kinds of Success Stories!Reuben’s story perfectly demonstrates the power of our RTO Alliance Partnerships.

“At the outset of GTI we had quite humble aspirations. We were mainly focused on inspiring and influencing the staff that were already within our employment.

Quite honestly, we didn’t have the inclination or resources to jump all the hurdles associated along the path of becoming an RTO. Instead, we sought a partnership so we could focus on inspiring our trainees and positively influ-encing those in our industry.

Before he was a seven figure trainer at GTI, Reuben Brennan traveled all around Australia interviewing RTOs to see where his business alliance dollars would make the most sense.

He ultimately chose us. The reason?

Unlike other RTOs providing Alliance Partnerships, Amina Academy doesn’t offer training courses that compete with our alliance members.

Our primary goal is to help individuals and companies avoid government compliance issues and provide Nationally Registered qualifications to their clients. We’re proud to say that’s what we’ve always done.

In fact, we are the only RTO in Australia that follows this unique model. We believe it speaks volumes about our dedication to Business Alliance members to succeed and substantially increase their business.

You’ll appreciate the fact that we are true partners – and not competitors disguised as partners.

The one thing we do that no other RTO offers…

Page 17: Why becoming an RTO - Amina Academyaminaacademy.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Amina-Information-Pack.pdf · an RTO just isn’t there ... Amina Academy Pty Ltd is a Registered

"We are true partners - and not competitors disguised as partners"

The One Thing We Do That No Other RTO Offers…

Everybody talks about working smarter versus working harder, but very few people actually walk the talk. As an Alliance Partner, you will!

• You’ll COMPLETELY bypass all the government regulations involved with becoming a Registered Training Organisation, but you’ll reap all the benefits of being able to offer accredited courses

• The process of becoming a Registered Training Organisation could easily take months if you were to go at it alone

• As an Amina Academy partner we can get the ball rolling 10 times faster than going it alone and without feeling unsure if you are doing the right thing.

• You’ll be able to offer one or several existing courses to your clients - We can suggest courses based on your business, or you can make your own selections. Once you’re a partner, the sky’s the limit

• We can help you create your own proprietary course - For coaches, consultants, experts and authors, this is an easy way to boost your credibility while adding a few extra zeros to your yearly salary

• With a few key contracts, even solo operators can build a thriving training business - Bring in additional employees if you want to, not because you have to. In times of economic uncertainty, that’s a welcomed benefit

• Even if you don’t want to be involved with the actual training process, we can help you bring in trainers to sustain your business. - Our Alliance Partnership model is supportive of both teachers and managerial/owner types

• We take our customer service obligations very seriously - We’re here for your calls, emails, Skype calls and even face-to-face meetings, where possible - We do this from the moment you are accepted, sign on and throughout the business relationship. We promise no questions will go unanswered

• Sell just three accredited courses and the cost of signing on to become an Alliance Partner is totally recouped. That’s a stellar return on investment!

What is your Investment?

We do require a deposit of $500 to show some form of commitment as we can only talk with a limited amount of potential clients that we can service well.

To thank you for your time we are offering you the chance to lock in a special “let’s get started rate” of only $15,000 plus GST to those of you who apply now with your deposit.

The special “let’s get started” rate of $15,000 + GST is an introductory offer that may be revoked at any time.

We will then contact you to let you know if we feel we are a good fit together. If so, we will book your one hour session with us to discuss the opportunity further.

The worse-case scenario at this stage is we decide upon reading through your application that it would not be mutually beneficial and refund the deposit straight away.

If you proceed to the one hour chat with us and we decide after talking that it is not a right fit for us both, then the $500 deposit would be refunded.

If however you are successful and want to get started in offering nationally recognized courses/qualifications then the deposit comes off the balance.

The initial investment covers all the work listed earlier that we need to complete.

There are ongoing fees which cover the ongoing administrative and compliance work we must do for each of your students.

Ongoing fees per student:• $55 per unit per student

To give you an example, a number of the qualifications our clients deliver are a Certificate IV level, comprised of 10 units of competency. So our fee in this example would be $55 per unit per student or $550 per student. The fee you charge the student is up to you. We have some clients who are charging around $4,000 to $5,000 for a Certificate IV to up to $17,000 depending on the inclusions and services they are providing in the program above and beyond the actual Certificate IV units of competency.

Annual fees:• To enable Amina Academy Pty Ltd to continue providing the services listed above, an annual registration fee’ of $2,000 will be charged

• The annual registration fee will be charged at the anniversary date of when the alliance commenced working with Amina Academy Pty Ltd

Additional fees for course accreditations:• Ongoing monitoring and evaluations

“I would suggest that if you want to work with the best, most proficient and most supportive organisation that really treats your business like it’s theirs, then you would look no further than Amina Academy!”

Here’s what another of our Alliance partners has to say…

Not for everyone

Be Aware, You May NOT Be Accepted

I want to make this clear. This opportunity is NOT for everyone.

If you’re not willing to make this opportunity work, to put the effort in now so you can reap the rewards down the track, then please don’t apply. I’ll be too busy helping genuine Alliances succeed.

And if you’re looking for a get-rich-quick scheme where you can sit back, and get me to do all the work for you… then think again. It’s not going to happen. And once again, I’ll be far too busy helping genuine Alliances reach their goals.

But if you are motivated, honest and willing to work in your own business on your own schedule then I urge you to fill in the application and send it to us ASAP.

Because Amina Academy doesn’t personally offer training services to end users, your success as an Alliance Partner is our primary goal.

When your training organisation is profitable, we also reap the benefits. That’s one of the reasons why we limit the number of Alliances and screen our potential partners so that we can offer a superior service to the ‘right’ clients.

One of the reasons why we’re very selective about the Alliance Partnerships we undertake is because we only accept a limited number of Alliance Partners at any given time.

As I mentioned earlier, ultimately our RTO status is dependent on how well we serve you. When your training organisation is profitable, we also reap the benefits.

By limiting the number of Alliance Partners, we can assure you that you’ll always receive 100% of our attention when you need it – whether it’s by telephone, email, Skype or even in a face-to-face meeting.

Once your application has been approved we’ll start mapping your course work or creating your very own unique course to get you up and running as quickly as possible.

While the number of available alliance partnership spots is limited, your potential lncome is not.

Page 23: Why becoming an RTO - Amina Academyaminaacademy.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Amina-Information-Pack.pdf · an RTO just isn’t there ... Amina Academy Pty Ltd is a Registered

So How Do You Take It Further?

Now you are here and have seen what a great opportunity the Amina Academy Alliance Partner-ship is to grow your business, add extra credibility and stand out from the crowd, all you need to do now to get started is fill in the Application Form and send it to us.

Once we have received your application, we will let you know within five business days if we believe you are a good fit for us and we are a good fit for you.

If at the application stage we feel we have potential to work well together we will then arrange a one hour chat on Skype.

The Skype chat will then determine as to whether or not you become our next successful Amina Academy alliance partner.

As mentioned before we cannot take on every client as being the RTO we have the responsibility of ongoing compliance on our shoulders not our partners. And the model is not for everyone. If unsuccessful your deposit will be refunded immediately after the application has been assessed, or if successful at that stage immediately after the Skype Chat.

If you are successful, we can then get started on determining the best business growth options for you.

Here’s to a lifetime of profitable training!

Suzie Crawford

P.S.- Remember, because of the steps involved with bringing new alliance partners up to speed, we can only handle a certain number of new applicants at any given time. The sooner you contact us, the better.

P.P.S – Act now and prosper tomorrow. Don’t wait until you truly have to wait. Register Now and get started so you’ll be ready for an income explosion!
