ON-CAMpUS RECRUiTiNGInFormatIon sessIons/Classroom presentatIonsFace-to-face group time is a wonderful way to present your organization to students and faculty. It is an effective way to share information with students scheduled for upcoming interviews or to promote an upcoming interview schedule. We will reserve rooms, order necessary equipment and refreshments upon request. Plan ahead and schedule your date early to ensure maximum student participation.

on-Campus IntervIeWsSchedule your date early. You can choose to have a pre-select schedule (allows you to preview resumes prior to making selections) or an open schedule (allows candidates to immediately select an interview time). Both methods target the candidates that meet your qualifications. Our office works with key faculty and staff on campus to market your campus interview day to students. To schedule your date, log in to your Mules4Hire account atucmo.edu/career/employers or contact our office at 660-543-4379 or by email at [email protected].

reCruItInG eventsCareer Services will host several career events during the 2015-2016 academic year. These events allow recruiters to interact with hundreds of students and faculty from many degree programs. Online registration will be available for many of these events at ucmo.edu/career/employers. Details on these events are noted under the “Schedule of Special Events” section of this brochure.

Following our Fall and Spring Career Expos, we host B.I.G. (Business, Industry, Government) Interview Days. This allows you to build your interview schedule with potential candidates you meet at the Career Expo. This is a convenient way to complete a recruiting visit. Space is limited for B.I.G. Day, so requests are met on a first-come, first-served basis and are scheduled through your registration for the Career Expo.

employer moCk IntervIeW Week Each year, approximately 1,000 students are required to participate in a mock interview. Career Services will host one full week each semester for employer mock interviews. Pick a day that works best for you. Students greatly enjoy practicing their interviewing skills with professionals in their line of work. This is a great way for students to prepare themselves for the job search process and for you to promote visibility of your organization on campus, as well as to preview our up-and-coming talent at UCM.
