PROCESS
When Blackboard, previous server, ended their support a new server had to be chosen for the University of Georgia system.
The decision to upgrade (which the change from Fall 2013 to Spring 2014 was) or try a new server is made at a larger scale. Even though this decision was made at a larger scale, VSU had representatives on the decision board. Several products were evaluated and surveys were sent to faulty and students to get feedback about which one they liked.
