PRODUCT POSITIONING

As part of its continued commitment to deliver innovative technologies along with premium design, Samsung

Electronics launched Galaxy Note 3 and Gear. Galaxy Note 3 is th best in the class smart phone with a host of unique

features like Air command & S-Pen. The Galaxy Gear is a revolutionary new technology which seamlessly integrates

with Note 3.

The VM strategy was to dene the Key USP of Note 3 like Air Command with its Pen Window, Screen Writer, Scrapbook,

and Action Memo options, as well as Gallery, Launcher, Safety Assistance, S Note, Sketchbook, and S Planner and how

the Phone connects seamlessly to Galaxy Gear. This was achieved by designing the Screen of the phone using LED

technology and highlighting the Air Command, Gear and S Pen. All three devices were highlighted in the sequence of

their usage. Innovation was undertaken to introduce material that was light, so that the window concept could be placed

right on the Glass Facade of the Store.

CHOICE OF MATERIAL

Key priorities were to use materials which are lightweight and transparent so that store visibility is not compromised. Also

the materials had to be durable & easy to install keeping in mind execution across 700+ outlets within a short span of

15 days. Considering the constraints , 0.5mm transparent polycarbonate sheet with translucent digital print were used.

Secondly the Note 3 phone, Gear & S pen were made with a combination of thin Acrylic sheet for making it light weight

along with translite media and OGP Sheet. The main Features were highlighted through LED tting in a sequel timer to

show sync among three products. The back side of the phone and gear was printed on a opaque vinyl so that it looks like a

real larger than life phone.

MATERIAL PALLETTE

The materials reect & compliment the quality of the product .The simplicity & choice of media allows the Hand Gear & Mobile to be hero of the display whilst emphasizing a strong window display.
