Strengths…

Page 11: WRFC Presentation

Strengths Peter

Coghlan

Good pitches, great

bath, huge mini

selection

The coaches are fantastic

and treat all of the players

well, regardless of ability,

they make the sport fun for

kids and encourage them

It’s a friendly

atmosphere. The

welcome extends to

visiting teams and

guests. Its strengths in

grass roots rugby

5 flat pitches whose

quality has improved

immeasurably since my

playing days. Good

clubhouse, able

committees/management

Strength in

depth – rugby

for all ages and

abilities

Weaknesses…

Page 13: WRFC Presentation

Weaknesses

Communication

between and to various

parts of the club.

Marketing is weak and

notification of events

could be improved

Don’t think

everyone is on

the same

wavelength

Only the

parking!

Communication

between coaches and

players and also

between teams. Not

enough player training John Glover

Lack of clear

direction and

ambition on the

part of the rugby

committee

Occasionally the

infrastructure can

be a bit hit or miss
