VANDAL RESISTANT LENS The Standard lens provides maximum PIR detection sensing small movements up to 20 feet. This lens should be used in typical offices and rooms where occupants work for extended periods of time. The Vandal Resistant lens should be used in high abuse or public areas, where occupants simply come and go and make larger types of motions. Copy rooms, small public restrooms, storage or janitor’s closets are ideal applications. The PIR detection is reduced by 50%. PHOTOCELL/BI-LEVEL DAYLIGHT OVERRIDE OPTION (WSD-2P-P) The WSD-2P sensor offers a Photocell Override option of both poles separately. Ideal for Automatic Bi-Level Lighting Control for spaces where abundant natural light is available. Once the sensor turns “On” (each pole respectively), the photocell is overridden so that the lights will not cycle from the artificial light source. F inally a Decorator Style Sensor that handles inboard/ outboard switching! Utilizing two isolated power relays, the WSD-2P provides: Full “On”, Load A only, Load B only, or All “Off”. Perfect for private offices with A-B switching. Additionally, the WSD-2P handles multiple loads and voltages. SENSOR OPERATIONS These sensors use PIR detection to sense occupancy in a space and initiate the lights to an “On” condition. The 2 pole design allows 2 switching functions for multi- level lighting control thru inboard/outboard control of 3 lamp fixtures or the switching of multiple fixtures. Once the sensor turns the load to “On”, the built in time delay (typically 10 minutes) keeps the lights “On” during brief periods of inactivity. Once the timer expires, the lights turn “Off”. The electronic frequency response and sensitivity to movement is factory calibrated for maximum performance. This-state-of-the-art design allows the sensor to adapt to it’s environment, eliminating the need for manual field adjustments. For example, the first pole can be set to automatically turn “On” upon occupancy, and the 2nd pole to be a “Manual On”. Or the 1st pole set at a 10 minute delay on the lights, with a 20 minute delay on the exhaust fan. Photocell control can also be set at different levels per pole.
