November 2018 1'450 € per week, 1 – 3 weeks available Photo: Adrian Seitz Our exploration trip with the Swiss-Brazilian crosscountry team in october 2017 has been a great success. Now we are fully committed to the new airfield in Caicó as a takeoff place for long distance flights in the Sertão. We are going to launch where Michael Sigel set the Swiss record over 533.77 km and the entire team around Chrigel Maurer surprised with numerous flights over 400 and 500 km. For takeoff in Caicó we use our mobile winches. Once airborne, we enjoy the fantastic flatland conditions. The biggest difference to the known flying areas in the Sertão (Quixadá, Tacima, Patu) is that it is literally flat in Caicó and there won’t be any jet effects occured by little hills. Thanks to the winch, takeoff is much easier. We are sure to get airborne while the wind on the mountain takeoffs blows out: a win-win combination that seems very promising to us.
