Xenophobia is defined as the "hatred or fear of foreigners or strangers or of their politics or culture“

Other definitions are: *deep-rooted antipathy towards foreigners. *unreasonable fear or hatred of the unfamiliar, especially people of other races.

The right of immigrants to maintain their cultural differences can only be possible when the receiving societies to renounce the ideology of assimilation outright foreign communities, to allow the cohabitation of different communities. Only then immigration will no longer be seen as a threat to cultural identity to become seen as an opportunity to enrich the culture.
